8 Of The Best Dog-Friendly Workspaces In London

18th September 2024 | By Hannah Lemon

I work from home full-time and my flatmate has a dog, so the dog has become my closest colleague. We go for walks during our lunch breaks, we chat in the kitchen while I make a coffee, and she takes a nap while I persevere through the afternoon slump. But when I do fancy going out for a day away from my makeshift home office, I like to keep my dog in tow.

But there’s a solution, we can continue our strong work schedule in the comfort of London’s most welcoming dog-friendly workspaces. Hurrah! They’re so welcoming that some even provide dog bowls and beds for our furry friends. Although, most do provide the caveat that they only let in well-behaved pups… so we might just need to do a bit more training first…

Sketch Labs

Sketch Labs is London’s most renowned office search agency specialising in sustainable, forward-thinking and most importantly – dog-friendly workspace. In short, they find office space for companies in London and they have access to buildings you never thought existed.

They attract disruptors, creatives and startups that think alike and have placed companies such as Abba Voyage, Ali Abdaal, Phizz and hundreds more.

25 EP, Victoria

Slap bang in the middle of London is a workplace concept that blends luxury living, flexible working and pooches. What more could you want for work life in London?

25 EP is the brainchild of Grosvenor Britain & Ireland and it sits in the heart of Belgravia in Eccleston Yards. The locale means there are places to go for all your fitness, wellness and dining needs in your lunchbreak too. The building rubs shoulders with the likes of Wild by Tart, Ole & Steen and Barry’s Bootcamp.

Inside, it feels like a private members’ club, with comfy sofas, vintage carpets and snazzy wallpaper. It sounds almost like you won’t get any work done, but there are glass office pods, meeting rooms, hot desks, permanent desks and private offices, from 2 to 50 people (the full capacity is 600 members). Event programmes and super-fast internet will keep you going.

This fine establishment is fully dog-friendly and all new canine members receive a complimentary dog bed and bowl.

Uncommon

Uncommon has various locations around London – Highbury & Islington, Borough, Holborn to name a few. And each of them is dog friendly. They love having dogs around, well, at least the well-behaved kind. They rightly point out that not all people love dogs (madness) so to ensure everyone gets along, dogs need to be on a lead and ensure they don’t get too up close and personal with anyone.

They have all kinds of memberships for owners, flexible, day passes, hot desks, private offices. And the decor is really amazing. Plants, subtle colour tones, and cute lamps – it looks straight out of Instagram. You and your dog are just gonna love it.
