The hotel boasts both dog-friendly and dog-free areas dotted around the hotel, so whether you’re a dog lover or not, everyone feels comfortable and welcome inside this corner of Cornwall.

Five bedrooms at the hotel are dog-friendly so book in advance if you fancy bringing a canine companion on your stay. Dogs are £20 per night but the hotel provides eating and drink bowls, blankets and all of your usual doggy necessities, plus homemade treats on arrival for your furry friends.

Artist Residence

If you’ve been reading The Handbook for a while, you’ll know how much we love Artist Residence and their arty interiors. But we also adore the fact that they are dog-friendly too.

With venues dotted in some of the hippest areas in the UK, it comes as no surprise that their rooms are filled with quirky original art, copper bathtubs (how on trend) and bright personality. If you’re looking to escape the typical city break though, head over to their thatched pub in Oxfordshire with your pooch in tow. Once you’ve settled into your dog friendly room, head down to their onsite pub, The Mason Arms to sink a pint or two in.
