Discover This Season’s Juiciest Homeware Trend

Thanks to our love for flamboyant tablescapes and Italian dining, bright lemon prints and ceramics are dominating our feeds. Here are some of our fave finds…
I’m all about a decadent table setting. Bring on the prints, patterns and colour. Make your guests feel ensconced in a sense of frivolity before the food has even been served (mainly because cooking isn’t exactly my forte). Unsurprisingly, the abundance of fruity-themed tableware right now couldn’t be more fitting, specifically lemons. I mean, they’re everywhere. Adding colour and zest to homes, the lemon trend is big news. Picture al fresco dining on the Amalfi coast, perhaps on the balconies of the renowned Le Sirenuse. Delicious salads served in giant bowls, hand-painted with sunny yellow lemons. For more of the same, look to Skye McAlpine Tavola, whose collection is an ode to timeless entertaining.
Once a trend has established itself, you’ll quickly find brilliant iterations on the high street – I particularly like the lemon-shaped salt and pepper set from George at Asda and the H&M lemon jug. For something more original Bettina Ceramica is a must. The brand is an exceptional edit of traditional Italian ceramics founded by Natalie Sytner. Similarly, Ivo Angel, created by Jennifer Perez, is another brand embracing lemon homeware, all of which is made by skilled artisans in Tuscany and Umbria. These intricate works of art are heirlooms in the making.
To complete the look, head to the likes of Beards & Daisies, which is also stocked at H&M, for your very own lemon tree. I can’t think of a better way to bring summer home.
