We may have lost one Barry this week (farewell Mr Chuckle) but here’s another Barry, just in time to cheer you up again for the weekend, welcome to Barry’s Bootcamp. This weekend the bootcamp have partnered with mental health charity HUMEN for a one-off event raising awareness of the benefits of physical fitness on mental health. Exercise alongside, and hear the stories of, Ryan Kohn, co-founder of Propercorn, David Abrahamovitch founder of The Grind and Barry’s Bootcamp Co-founder, Sandy Macaskill who will all be sharing their experience of what it means to be a man, the need to be ‘more human’ and inspiring others to be the same ‘more human’ too. Comida Fest by Tower Bridge
Unless we’re talking about Brexit, 18,000 can’t be wrong, and that’s how many attendees Latin American festival Comida Fest already, the carnival atmosphere continues this weekend as their biggest festival yet arrives at Potters Fields Park at Tower Bridge. In their last event of the summer season they’ll be joined by over 30 food, drink, craft and produce traders, great for browsing and munching as you go. As well as food there’ll be a full cultural programme of music and fun activities suitable for both grownups and children.
