What to do This Weekend: 7th – 9th July
The weekend is fast approaching, two days to make the most of this fair city of ours. Join in the Pride parade, have brunch on the lawn at the Tate, do yoga by the Thames and watch home made go carts whizz around Alexandra Palace…welcome to the weekend.
Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill
A Chocolate Afternoon Tea with Free Champagne
This Friday is World Chocolate Day, it’s pretty much the law to eat chocolate. We recommend the Green & Black’s ChocolaTEA at The Montagu. There’s so much chocolate it’s even the sandwiches, yep you’ll find a smoking salmon sushi sandwich garnished with chocolate flakes and a Churchill burger with a dark 70% chocolate infused BBQ sauce. Not that you need another reason to book it, but if you do, then the ChocolaTEA this weekend (7th -9th July) and quote World Chocolate Day to receive a free glass of Champagne. Cheers to that.

Tate Britain
Jazz Brunch
Tate Britain probably doesn’t spring to mind when you think about places for brunch, but everywhere in London is actually a place for brunch. This weekend sees the launch of their Saturday Jazz brunches which will take place on the terrace lawn. The Rex Whistler restaurant will be serving up shucked oysters, eggs benedict, Bloody Mary cocktails, steak tartare and British seafood which you can feast on whilst listening to different jazz bands – they’re kicking off with Booth Street West. There are different options too, you can just buy tickets for the jazz or for jazz and cocktails – you don’t have to have brunch, but we wouldn’t suggest that.

Obviously, beer’s pal, the kebab will be there, brought to you by the BABEK Brothers – the best kebabs this side of Istanbul. Kebab, beer and rooftop views – what more could you want?
