It would take a lot for me to step away from my beloved leopard print, but this season has me lusting after a bit of snake print. Previously, I’d found it borderline trashy. Now, though, it’s the chicest print in town. Oh, how I love the fickle world of fashion…

It’s true: since scouring the Autumn/Winter 2025 runways for the hottest trends, I’ve been lured in by the new appeal of snakeskin-effect boots or a snake-print tote. Designers brought us an elevated collection of sophisticated snake prints. Khaite‘s accessories couldn’t be more covetable, while Gabriela Hearst ignited our love affair with top-to-toe styles. Zimmermann opted for a bohemian-inspired look with floaty snake-print dresses. Follow that with an influx of content creators appearing in our social feeds, all wearing a hint of snake, and we are officially hooked.

Personally, it’s all about the accessories for me. From the knee-high boots at & Other Stories to the latest Bou bag from Ganni, I’m ready for an outfit update. I’ll never relegate leopard to the back of the closet. I’m sure I’ll even dabble with zebra and cow print – both are also seriously hot right now. However, when I’m after a hint of chic, I’m heading straight for the snake-print.

On the AW25 catwalk, Khaite proved that snake print is not just a dominant trend, it also makes for a sleek new addition to our wardrobes. Prepare to see our favourite labels and high street stores overflowing with snakeskin boots, bags, heels, snake print skirts, dresses and trousers.
