Annabel’s Mayfair Unveils A Beautiful New Rainforest Façade

One of Mayfair’s best-known private members clubs, Annabel’s, has just revealed a brand new façade. For the uninitiated, Annabel’s is famous for its beautiful building front, often reimagined to mark events ranging from Christmas to Halloween. But the latest design is a nod to a particularly worthy cause.
Designed in collaboration with The Caring Family Foundation (TCFF), the facade was unveiled on World Amazon Day and is part of the ongoing Annabel’s for the Amazon charity initiative that is dedicated to supporting the Indigenous communities and biodiversity of the Brazilian rainforest.
Designed by Tatiana Kharchylava, Creative Director of The Birley Clubs, this year’s façade features a striking Indigenous headdress that is traditionally worn by community leaders. It symbolises the strength of those fighting to protect the Amazon and its rich biodiversity with the single burning feather in the display standing for a reminder of how fragile the ecosystem is, and how quickly it can be destroyed by deforestation, illegal mining, and environmental degradation.
“We are thankful to once again bring this powerful display to the heart of London, created in collaboration with the Nukini community, to continue raising awareness for this vital cause at Annabel’s,” says Kharchylava.
We are thankful to once again bring this powerful display to the heart of London, created in collaboration with the Nukini community.
Crafted from sustainably sourced and recycled materials from previous facades, the magnificent display calls for urgent action and unwavering support to preserve the Amazon and protect the people who safeguard its future. Marking its fifth year in 2024, The Caring Family Foundation (TCFF) is one of the UK’s largest donors to Brazilian reforestation, and the team has planted over two million trees in Brazil. Also worth noting is that as part of the initiative, a distinctive collection of cocktails has also been crafted in collaboration with Altamura Distilleries vodka that will be available at Annabel’s throughout the month, with proceeds from their sales donated to TCFF.
