Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel, Antibes, France
Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel has undergone a recent redesign and just one look at the imagery makes you want to book in ASAP.
Located between Cannes and Nice, this French five-star hotel boasts 35 rooms and suites with its own private beach. Bed in for a long lazy weekend filled with sun, sand, and soaring views across the sea.

The beach is secluded with pretty baby pink parasols and loungers decked out across the expanse. The restaurant beach bar, BABA, serves up dishes inspired by head chef Assaf Granit’s Middle Eastern background and is open for lunch and dinner.
Take your trip up a notch and book in for a feast at the hotel’s on-site Michelin-starred restaurant, Les Pêcheurs.

Ellery Beach House, Stockholm, Sweden
Sweden might not be the first place you think of when it comes to the best beach clubs in Europe but Ellery Beach House is here to prove your apprehensions wrong.
The only beach resort in Stockholm, this stylish spot is home to its own private jetty and is deeply inspired by 1960s and 1970s style.
The on-site Coco Beach Club is well worth visiting, complete with multiple pools, open fires, a sauna, and cabanas. Open from morning through to midnight, it’s open year-round meaning you can soak up the warm pools – coming in at a balmy 33 degrees – before venturing down to the sauna by the sea.
Purobeach Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal
The Algarve is the perfect sunshine hop from the UK and Purobeach, situated within the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura is the ultimate destination.
Poolside or sandy shores? This beach club has both, with a set-up that complements low-key lounging and energetic high jinxs alike. Book a Provence Daybed on the golden sands for peaceful zen complete with complimentary fruit bowls and rose wine, or alternatively go for a Balinese Bed in the poolside gardens for champagne and live DJs.
Wherever you choose, be sure to book into the restaurant for the most incredible seafood. White leather seating, impeccable service, fresh fish on ice and views over the Atlantic make this chic long lunch perfection.
Astri Beach, Athens, Greece
Any trip to Athens couldn’t be complete without a trip to one of the world’s most iconic beach clubs – Astri Beach. Lined with palm trees and turquoise waters, this celeb-approved beach dates back to 1959 and has seen just about every famous troupe cosy in under the colourful umbrellas.
From sunrise through sunset, the blue and white striped loungers and parasols line the sandy beachfront alongside day beds with shady white linen hanging overhead.
Eva Estepona, Spain
One of the newest additions to this list, Eva Estepona, is inspired by the Greek goddess of water of the same name. Nestled on the southern Spanish coast, overlooking the Playa del Cristo, this impressive opening combines Greek tradition with immersive (and, at times, provocative) entertainment.
Set across two stories, the club’s restaurant features an extensive seafood counter, along with an outdoor terrace and bar surrounded by olive trees. Did we mention the infinity pool too? Private dining and VIP cabanas are also available for those who prefer their privacy while on holiday.
Nikki Beach, Santorini, Greece
Arguably one of the most famous beach clubs of all, Nikki Beach boasts clubs, restaurants, and resorts all over the globe. Our favourite is Santorini’s edition, complete with the brand’s signature all-white décor and lively entertainment.
Here, you’ll find a globally inspired menu featuring salads, sushi rolls, and, of course, Greek mezze bites, as well as signature cocktails, Champagne, and smoothies.
Beach club access is complimentary for hotel guests or you can head over for a day to rent a double bed by the pool or sun lounger.
Dune Beach, Marbella, Spain
Located on the outskirts of Marbella centre, Dune Beach is a restaurant-meets-beach club concept. It’s situated directly on the beach with sweeping sea views and protected sand dunes.
Spend your morning lazing on a sun lounger before heading up to the restaurant for a light Mediterranean-inspired lunch and a cocktail or two.
Palazzo Avino, Amalfi Coast, Italy
Situated high above the sea in the cliffside picturesque village of Ravello, Palazzo Avino is a luxury five-star hotel worth visiting. Every room is home to stunning scenery, from sea-view French balconies to mountain terrain.
Despite being high on the cliffs, the hotel boasts its own clubhouse by the sea. Located in the small town of Marmorata, just a 15-minute drive from Ravello, there is complimentary access to the beach platforms for all hotel guests. It’s slotted alongside a small swimming pool, Clubhouse Restaurant, changing rooms, and relaxing living rooms for lounging. There’s even a complimentary shuttle service to and from the hotel.
Maybourne La Plage, France
A French Riviera stay doesn’t get much more magical than one at this five-star hotel. Think plunging views over the azure waters, suites with plunge pools, and an exclusive beach club and restaurant.
Complete with peach loungers, white parasols, and rustic wooden finishes, this beach club ticks all of the right boxes
Complete with peach loungers, white parasols, and rustic wooden finishes, this beach club ticks all of the right boxes. Bringing the golden age of the Côte d’Azur to life, expect fresh and local seafood specialities from three-Michelin-Starred chef Mauro Colagreco and signature cocktails to await.
Cotton Beach Club, Ibiza
You won’t find any rocks or seaweed lingering around at this white sandy beach utopia. Away from the clubbing side of the island, Ibiza’s Cotton Beach Club is a sophisticated destination serving up sensational views across the Mediterranean.
Over in the restaurant, enjoy a fusion of Med flavours, from lunch through dinner, as well as signature cocktails, sangria, and wines. The open-air space is filled with neutral white and wooden tones that seep into the beach-side loungers too.
Pitch up for the afternoon or hire out the space exclusively for a boho wedding, work event or all-out party.
Republiek Bloemendaal, The Netherlands
This is the type of place you’ll want to keep all to yourself but this chic haven can be found in The Netherlands. Open all year round but best enjoyed when the sun is blaring, the interiors have been done really beautifully, featuring earthy tones, cream linen-lined sofas, rattan statement chairs and industrial beams.
On the food front, the kitchen focuses on dishes created using the on-site wood oven and fire pit, including woodfired pizzas on the weekends.
Purobeach Portopiccolo, Sistiana, Italy
You may not get the sand but this is one of Italy’s most exclusive beach clubs. Set on a white shingle beach, you’ll find comfortable sunbeds and cosy cabins to wind away the day here.
When you aren’t dipping your toes into the turquoise waters, order food and drinks directly to your lounger or head for a quick refresh in the pool. Head up to The Terraces for widescreen sea views and a little shade, before ordering another round of cocktails.
If you’ve got kids in tow, head to Green Beach where you’ll find all of the same comforts alongside games and entertainment to keep the little ones busy.
