7 Best Padel Courts In London
If there’s one sport you might have heard about from your friend, housemate, colleague or new acquaintance you met at the bar twenty minutes ago, it’s padel. The cross between tennis and squash is all the rage at the moment, boosted by the fact that it’s much easier to play than tennis, and not bogged down with the same accusations of stuffiness that plague squash.
Since 2022 padel has seen exponential growth, and while we can’t verify its claim to officially be the fastest growing sport in the world, it’s not far off. Here are some of the best in London, from Shoreditch to Hyde Park.
Padel Yard, Wandsworth
The Padel Yard, based in Wandsworth, has six full-sized padel courts, both indoor and outdoor.
As a bonus, they also have a bar where you can toast your newfound sport with a post-game pint in the sun – which is the main reason we do exercise, after all.

Padel Social Club, Earls Court
This is like the Soho House of Padel clubs – the same interior experts even design the clubhouse. They aim for a more community feel, rather than just people turning up and booking a court (although you can do that too). With a location already in Earls Court and one to come in Wandsworth, they are expanding almost as fast as the game itself.
Paired with offerings of yoga, pilates HIIT classes and a clubhouse bar, there’s few better ways to be both social and active.

Shoreditch Power League
Newly opened in July, Shoreditch has bolstered London’s padel offerings, adding to their already popular football league. The three courts are available to hire for 60 or 90-minute slots, with club lessons and social events also part of the deal.
