From pastel paisley prints to pretty florals, boho and quilted jackets make a return for SS23. Scroll on to shop our pick of the best.
If you’re looking for the perfect transitional top layer to take you into spring, this is it. Boho and quilted jackets have been in the spotlight for some seasons now, and by the looks of the latest SS23 collections, the trend looks set to stay.
Top of the wish list has to be Isabel Marant, who can do no wrong when it comes to grown-up bohemian style. We are lusting over the Gelio quilted floral number from the brand’s more affordable Étoile line, having spotted it on Insta star Monikh, styled perfectly with ’90s-inspired baggy jeans.
Like Isabel, it’s the Parisian style brands that do this look so well. Check out BA&SH, Sézane and Jeanne Damas‘ brand Rouje for some great options that are still a considered piece, but far more affordable than the higher-end brands.
On the high street, FreePeople has naturally nailed this look thanks to its perennial boho spirit. We love their Iris quilted jacket in moody tones of burnt orange and warm brown – perfect against inky blue denim.
Styling-wise, keep the rest of your look toned down with a simple white tee and jeans or leather trousers. Or add a French fashion editor vibe to the look by cinching in the waist with a belt and tucking your trousers into slouchy suede boots. And by the time spring comes around, these boho-inspired jackets also look great layered over a pretty white summer dress and classic gold jewels.

Insta star Monikh adds a more relaxed edge to her Isabel Marant Étoile jacket by pairing with '90s-inspired baggy jeans.
Stylist and influencer, Emma Rose, gives a lesson in how to do grown-up boho chic by pairing her pretty floral jacket with straight-leg denim and classic Chanel sling-backs.
