I admit it: I thought Miu Miu’s brown trainers would be a flash-in-the-pan trend. Debuting last year, the unsuspecting sneakers quickly rose to prominence among the fashion set. And, as the saying goes, what goes up, must come down, right? The thing is… we’re a year on and I still want a pair.
I’ve added countless iterations to my cart, ranging from Alohas and a very tempting Jeffrey Campbell style, to the now sold-out Miu Miu 530 SL style (although I could practically hear my January bank account laughing at the audacity). So, while it remains front of mind, let’s shop the trainer trend, along with the best options on the high street.
