Few sights signal the start of festive season quite like the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck featured in the brand’s iconic ‘holidays are coming’ advert. Decked in bright lights as it drives through snow-covered scenes on screen, the truck is embarking on its annual tour, making its first stop in London today [Thursday 21st November]. Here’s everything you need to know…

What to expect

Aside from taking a snap alongside the recognisable red truck, there’s plenty to do at the pop-up. In addition to entertainment from gospel choirs and DJ sets, plus a surprise performance from a chart-topping artist, visitors can also enjoy festive games, take part in a lucky dip, and grab something to eat from the festive food truck.

This year, the Coco-Cola Christmas Truck Tour tour will support FareShare, the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste. For every person who attends the tour, the equivalent of a meal will be donated on their behalf, with the brand aiming to donate the equivalent of up to a total of 1 million meals* via FareShare this festive season.

Kirsty Ford, head of fundraising at FareShare said, “We are so grateful to Coca-Cola for their continued support for FareShare. These invaluable donations help us get good-to-eat food to the people who need it rather than going to waste. Every day, the food we redistribute to a network of over 8,000 charities in every region helps to strengthen communities.”

Where to see it

You might want to conveniently book a meeting for this afternoon, as the truck’s first stop is at Elys Yard, Truman Brewery E1 6QL from 2-9:30pm.

If you’re not in London, or can’t make it today, visit the coca-cola.com website for more info on the remaining tour stops as they’re revealed.
