From the return of Southbank Centre’s Imagine Children’s Festival to one-of-a-kind Valentine’s workshops that everyone will love, we’ve rounded up the best pop-ups landing this February. 

Tacos & Tequila Brunch at Devonshire Terrace by Drake & Morgan 

You can wave Dry January goodbye in style courtesy of Devonshire Terrace by Drake & Morgan’s new pop-up series. Celebrating Margarita Month, the popular restaurant will host tacos and tequila brunches every Saturday throughout February and March. 

Partnering with Patrón, you’ll be able to sip on specially curated tequila-based cocktails, all while diving into loaded tacos. Choose between prawn tacos with tomato salsa, pickled red cabbage, guacamole and yellow chilli dressing; veggie breakfast tacos with black beans, tofu, piquillo peppers, avocado, spring onion, lime, coriander and smoked chilli jam; or D&M’s signature tacos with cod, pickled chilli, pink onions, baby gem, coriander, radish and harissa cream.

Damson Madder Pop-Up

Online sustainable fashion brand, Damson Madder, will be hosting its first pop-up boutique this month. Known for its small-batch production and playful pieces, the week-long residence will allow you to explore, shop and try on the brand’s SS24 collection.

Running alongside the pop-up will be a two-day Valentine’s floral event created in partnership with the floral concept, My Lady Garden.

Expect to find some timeless pieces that you’ll wear on rotation.

‘Culinary Affair’ Menu at Balthazar 

If you’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of The Taste Of Things in cinemas this month, Balthazar has teamed up with Picturehouse Entertainment to create a collab to remember. 

Celebrating the release of this romance-filled foodie film, the French restaurant has crafted a menu inspired by the dishes created in the film. This three-course menu features dishes such as Lyonnaise Salad with dressed frisee, pancetta, soft poached hen’s egg, toasted croutons and shallot vinaigrette; Le Pot Au Feu, paying homage to the film’s cinematic feast and features a selection of slow-cooked meats and vegetables served with sauce verte; and Peats & Cream with vanilla and anis poached Williams pear, Chantilly cream, toasted almonds and chocolate sauce.

Valentine’s Workshops with SketchSesh

Do something different this Valentine’s month and channel your inner creativity with Selfridges’ mixed media workshop. 

Hosted by collaborative drawing group SketchSesh, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to create a perosnalised portrait of your partner in a unique style. Get stuck in and craft a unique, one-of-a-kind personalised gift that your loved one with treasure forever. 

Alongside the workshop, there’ll be DJs spinning the decks and a complimentary cocktail included in your ticket. It’s the perfect Galentine’s or Valentine’s activity.

Supper Club with Hannah Crosbie 

Looking to learn more about the art of wine pairing? Hithe + Seek has partnered with wine expert and Dalston Wine Club Founder, Hannah Crosbie, for an exclusive collaboration. To celebrate, this month sees the restaurant host a special supper club launch night. 

Enjoy a specially curated six-course menu with wine pairing that combines elegance with a playful twist on the modern-day love language. The menu features an aperitif cocktail, six small sharing plates and matching wines, allowing you to learn more about wine pairing with foods.

Ramen Yokocho x Persona 3 Reload 

Whether you love a good bowl of steaming ramen or you’ve loved playing Persona 3 Reload all month, you’ll be excited to know that iconic ramen spot Ramen Yokocho and Sega have teamed up to create three special menus dedicated to the game. 

Running until April, gamers will have the chance to sample dishes inspired by the leading characters in the game: Main Character, Mitsuru Krijio and Aigis. 

Available at Ramen Yokocho’s Panton and Heddon Street locations, highlights from the menu include Weird Yakoyaki – deep-fried diced octopus balls topped with takoyaki brown sauce, Japanese mayo, bonito flakes, aonori seaweed and red ginger; and the Hagakure Gourmet King Ramen, a 12hr tonkotsu pork broth with garlic oil and fried garlic topped with menma bamboo shoots, BBQ pork belly, spring onion, nitamago egg and wakame seaweed. 

Save room for dessert and sample the Sweet, Sweet Thanatos – coffin-shaped chocolate mochi brownie served with either a scoop of matcha or vanilla ice cream, drizzled with strawberry sauce. 

Over at Ichiba, Westfield London, there’s also a mini dessert pop-up, where you have the chance to try limited-edition donuts inspired by Persona 3.

Balloon Museum 

You may have already seen this one plastered across your TikTok and Insta feed, but the Balloon Museum has landed in London for a short period and it’s well worth checking out. 

Centred around the element of ‘air’, the experience features giant out-of-scale installations, unexpected shapes and interactive areas for all to get involved with. 

Perfect for adults and children alike, this immersive museum is bound to bring a smile to your face. Plus, it probably doesn’t get more Instagrammable than this. 

Wednesday Live Music Nights at Manzi’s 

If you’re looking to get your boogie on, nip down to Manzi’s for an evening packed with creative energy, high spirits and Casablanca-esque vibes. 

Helping you to get through the mid-week slump, you’ll find the Soho seafood restaurant serving up an immaculate atmosphere. Both the interiors and house band playfully nod to Rick’s Café Americain, so you can expect to be tapping your toes to 1940s New Orleans swing and jazz tunes all evening long. 

Paired with dishes such as clam chowder, Loch Duart salmon and Bateman’s lobster rolls, you’re in for a real treat

Imagine Children’s Festival 

Southbank Centre’s Imagine Children’s Festival is back with a bang this February half term, packed out with a fun-filled program of events, performances and creative experiences. 

With over 130 events packed across 11 days – and over 50% of the festival completely free – this is one all the kids will love getting involved with. Expect everything from storytelling with leading writers, speakers and poets including John Agard and Dr Ronx; Mish Mash family trails; dance and disco parties; and a family-friendly dance production of Chotto Desh.

Charity Super.Mkt at Fenwick

We’ve all seen the news announcing that Fenwick’s New Bond Street location has now closed its doors since Saturday 3rd February, but there is a way to creep inside the building one more time before it’s gone for good. 

Charity Super.Mkt, the team that curates a collection of fashion and accessories from top UK charity retailers, will be hosting an exclusive pop-up in the former Fenwick six-storey department store for a limited time. 

From 9th – 24th February, you’ll be able to shop everything from band t-shirts, football tops, denim goodies and everything in between at this secondhand pop-up shop. On Friday 9th, there’ll be a rummage launch event that you can sign up to for your chance to see and shop the collection before it goes live.

Alba at Silverleaf 

This month sees Pan Pacific London’s cocktail bar, Silverleaf, unveil a new luxury hidden bar, Alba. Home to a series of tastings and brand partnerships, it’s a chance for cocktail lovers to sample some of the world’s finest spirits in an all-new, intimate setting. 

Throughout the month, guests can book a private two-hour slot with Alba where they’ll have the opportunity to sample a dram of the new Silverleaf x Eagle Rare limited edition release. On select dates, there’ll be the chance to sit in on intimate Eagle Rare tastings with the brand’s ambassador, Liam Sparks, sampling five different whiskies from the portfolio.

Mama’s Ski Club 

Those missing the slopes, fear not as Mama Shelter London Shoreditch has transformed its garden bar into an alpine haven. Bringing to life the brand’s iconic bubbly personality, Mama’s Ski Club will feature everything from brilliant food and cocktails to snow trees, skis and goggles. You might even spot a hanging faux Moose head too. 

Alongside all of the snowy action, you’ll be able to sip on Absolute Vodka’s specially curated serves and tuck into the world’s first Mochi fondue, created in collaboration with Little Moons.

Complimentary Cinema Screenings with Woodford Reserve

Fancy getting your hands on free cinema tickets? Woodford Reserve, the official Spirit partner of the EE BAFTA Film Awards, has teamed up with Soho Works to put on a series of complimentary screenings. 

Selected from the BAFTA ‘Best Film’ long list, every Monday throughout February, they will be doing complimentary viewings. From Poor Things to The Holdovers, All of Us Stranger to Oppenheimer, you’ll have the chance to catch these hot-flicks on the big screen. Alongside, there’ll be a pop-up bar with freshly made complimentary cocktails to sip throughout the movies.

There’ll be 25 free tickets available to the public for each screening, in addition to 25 free tickets exclusively available for Soho House members.
