Anyone who grew up watching Gossip Girl knows that Kelly Rutherford (AKA Lily van der Woodsen) is iconic. And, on re-watching the series recently, my enthusiasm for the Upper East Side mum has only grown. Fun fact: Kelly recently confirmed that she used her own Hermès Birkins to stock Lily’s wardrobe? Like I said: Iconic.

While the Noughties series might have ended, Kelly’s continuing her streak as a force to be reckoned with. Just last week, Kelly was sitting in the front row next to Kylie Jenner at Haute Couture Fashion Week. Of course, she went all-out for the occasion, wearing a sculpted baby pink midi with scarlet red accents at the Simone Rocha x Jean Paul Gaultier show, before going for a neutral trouser combination at Patou.

Meanwhile, over on Instagram, she alternates between motivational quotes and #OOTD lift selfies that embody the quiet luxury trend.

Her wardrobe staples? The aforementioned Birkins, of course, followed by statement designer shades, luxurious outerwear, cosy knits, co-ord sets, and calf-skimming hemlines. In short, this editor wants to dress/live like Kelly now and forever.
