The Performance
Home to five floors of beautiful architecture, a sweeping staircase greets you the moment you walk through the historic 116 Pall Mall. The performance will see the London Chamber Orchestra and remarkable soprano Charlotte Bowden take to the stage for an unforgettable evening.
A rising star in opera, Charlotte Bowden made her debut as a 2022 Jerwood Young Artist at Glyndebourne Festival and quickly garnered critical acclaim. In 2022, she was a finalist in the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Awards and has since performed at iconic venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Wigmore Hall, so you know you’re in for a treat. At this special one-night-only 116 Pall Mall performance, Charlotte will take centre stage, performing alongside the orchestra, dazzling the audience with her talent.
A carefully curated setlist for the event has been put together, featuring a collection of world-renowned composers. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the magic of Handel’s “Endless pleasure” and the soul-stirring “Lascia ch’io Pianga”. There’ll be works of Mozart performed throughout the evening, including favourites like “Deh vieni” and “Ach ich fuhl’s”.
Other notable pieces include Bellini’s “Eccomi in lieta vesta”, Dvorak’s “Song to the Moon” and Puccini’s “O mio Babbino”.
