Mrs & Mr Bateman: Art, Fashion & Interior Design Launch

The brainchild of vintage dealer Clemmie Myers and artist Selena Beaudry, this immersive installation allows shoppers to become part of the story at the art, fashion and interior design installation, Mrs and Mr Bateman. Immerse yourself in the unique world, meeting the Bateman relatives along the way through the rooms and one-of-a-kind creations.

Marylebone Food Festival

Marylebone Food Festival is back for its second year, taking place from the 24th to the 28th of April. The festival celebrates the abundance and variety of food and drink in Marylebone, from top Michelin star restaurants and artisan cafes to speciality food shops and quirky cocktail and wine bars.

Exhibition Challenging Human Behaviour: Sisyphus In Retrograde

‘Sisyphus in Retrograde’ showcases five artists whose work references ancient knowledge and features sculpture through performance, movement and sound. Curated by Aindrea Emelife of Aindrea Contemporary and Gabriella Sonabend of London Curotorial, the exhibition explores themes surrounding technology and the environment – posing the important questions challenging human behaviour.

Leicester Square Theatre

Smash hit improvised murder mystery Show, Murder, She Didn’t Write, will continue their West End residency at Leicester Square Theatre with with shows each month from January through to May 2019. Audience participation is key in this show, as they become both author and sleuth, being invited to help to create their own Agatha Christie-inspired masterpiece and then watch it unfold on stage.

The Other Palace

It certainly will be TGIF this week, as The Other Gin Palace will hold a free, yes FREE, night of live music music and a whole load of gin! The event comes as part of a series in association with MÓR Irish Gin, happening on the fourth Friday of every month. Alas, the 26th of April will see you having a ginny good time as you whet the whistle with gin highlights, including refreshing and bold wild berry gin, or a unique pineapple gin. This Friday, you’ll enjoy  music from The Chelsea Chantelle Trio and tipples galore – what’s not to love?!

If you hadn’t already guessed, we love a rooftop here at The Handbook, and we suggest you get on board. The Prince of all rooftops is reopening to distract us from the fact that the four day bank holiday is no more!
