Dukes Bar
A regular watering hole for Ian Fleming
The man who brought the world’s most favourite spy to life, Ian Fleming, was a regular at the high end bar, where he is said to have been inspired for the classic line, ‘shaken, not stirred’ from his interactions with the bar staff about how to make a martini. Dukes Bar has celebrated this exciting link by creating the Fleming 89, a new martini created in partnership with London-based perfumery Floris, whose “89” Eau de Cologne was famously worn by James Bond. The flavour and smoothness of this martini is a sophisticated complement to the aroma of this quintessentially English gentleman’s fragrance.
