Okay, don’t mean to alarm you or anything but we think we might have found our new favourite restaurant. Hidden inside London’s newest and finest Japanese-inspired hotel, The Prince Akatoki, TOKii follows suit with minimalist interiors and exquisite dining. And, if there’s one thing we know, the restaurant is all about its sharing plates. Dishes have been specially curated upon their robata grill and sushi counter. If you’ve got a few buck spare, the crowd pleaser is always going to the Japanese wagyu beef A5-150gr with spicy ponzu.

Patri Hammersmith

All aboard! Driven by the aromas and flavours nuzzled amongst India’s iconic railway stations and on board these journeys, Patri Hammersmith will bring to life a slice of Indias finest snack side dishes. Made to order, prepare to dive into old Delhi classics, flavour packed kebabs and even a ‘boyfriend chaat’.

Another restaurant utilising the robata style grill is ROBATA. These guys have even got a specially curated sharing menu just for those days where you and your pals can’t decide on what dishes to order. Hidden in their private dining room, gather your friends and family and opt for their sharing style menu. The interiors are timeless but not old-fashioned and the Private Dining Room itself, like the restaurant and the hotel, is full of eclectic art and handpicked furniture. Get down and dirty as you dive into the dreamiest sharing dishes at London’s sexiest restaurant. Sexy Fish, one of Mayfair’s highest ranked restos, is certainly world renowned for its exceptional sushi, sashimi and robata grilled meats. Forget ordering for just yourself and order a whole whack for the table. And, don’t forget to snap up a picture for the ‘gram, the presentation is always spot on.

Kama By Vineet

When it comes to sharing plates, it doesn’t get better than thali. The Indian delicacy is made up of a selection of various dishes served on a seriously appetising platter. It’s colourful, it’s spicy and, if you’ve got cash to spare, nowhere does thali that’s quite as posh as KAMA by Vineet. Their Michelin-starred head chef has got The Handbook’s stamp of approval, and the accompanying cocktails are some of the best we’ve tried. The restaurant is housed in the Harrods food hall, so you can kill two birds with one stone and pick up any last minute Christmas shopping once you’re done!

Tapas Brindisa Battersea

Disfrutar an evening of Spanish culture and tapas at Tapas Brindisa Battersea. Celebrating the freshest ingredients from across Spain and it’s legendary islands, as you can probably guess you’ll be dining on tapas style dishes championing different meats, cheeses and fish, all devised with an added Spanish flair.

J Sheekey

You can’t go to J Sheekey Atlantic Bar without indulging in one of their shellfish platters and ordering a bundle of oysters for the table. The pièce de résistance is, of course, their ERDEM’s plateau de fruit de mer, an ensemble of oysters, tuna and salmon sashimi, cock crab claw, lobster, langoustine, Atlantic prawns, surf clams, cockles and mussels.
