TOKii

Okay, don’t mean to alarm you or anything but we think we might have found our new favourite restaurant. Hidden inside London’s newest and finest Japanese-inspired hotel, The Prince Akatoki, TOKii follows suit with minimalist interiors and exquisite dining. And, if there’s one thing we know, the restaurant is all about its sharing plates. Dishes have been specially curated upon their robata grill and sushi counter. If you’ve got a few buck spare, the crowd pleaser is always going to the Japanese wagyu beef A5-150gr with spicy ponzu.

Patri Hammersmith

All aboard! When it comes to sharing plates, it doesn’t get better than thali. The Indian delicacy is made up of a selection of various dishes served on a seriously appetising platter. It’s colourful, it’s spicy and, if you’ve got cash to spare, nowhere does thali that’s quite as posh as KAMA by Vineet. Their Michelin-starred head chef has got The Handbook’s stamp of approval, and the accompanying cocktails are some of the best we’ve tried. The restaurant is housed in the Harrods food hall, so you can kill two birds with one stone and pick up any last minute Christmas shopping once you’re done!
