30 Rooftops Perfect For Soaking Up London’s Sublime Skyline

We’re in the middle of rooftop season, and London has plenty of sky-high bars and restaurants to head to for summer drinks with a view. From bottomless brunches and al fresco destinations to party vibes, these are the London rooftops you’ll want to be enjoying the sunshine in:

Stanley’s
Tucked above The Chesterfield Mayfair on Charles Street, Stanley’s Rooftop Bar is one of Mayfair’s most intimate rooftop hideaways. The relaxed yet refined space pairs panoramic views over central London with crafted cocktails and seasonal small plates.
With space for around 60 guests and a retractable roof, the rooftop works year-round — breezy in summer and cosy when enclosed in cooler months. Expect signature drinks alongside elevated bar snacks such as lobster and crayfish rolls or Devon dressed crab, making it a polished spot for sunset cocktails above Mayfair.

La-Yam
Eight floors above Holborn Station, La-Yam pairs sweeping views of both old and new London with a rooftop atmosphere that feels polished without becoming overly formal. The terrace stretches out across the skyline, making it just as suited to golden-hour cocktails as it is to long dinners overlooking the city lights.
The food leans Eastern Mediterranean, designed for sharing across the table, while the drinks list keeps pace with well-executed cocktails and crowd-pleasing spritzes. There’s also enough space to make it work for almost any occasion — intimate midweek dates, after-work drinks, or larger weekend groups settling in for the evening.

Flute at Broadwick Soho

Flute offers a landscaped wraparound outdoor terrace, and inside, the bar imbibes maximalist glamour with mirrored ceilings, a palm-frond carpet and an onyx-topped bar.
Perfect to head to for a nightcap or to enjoy some summer sunshine, some of the favourites here include fried chicken and caviar and a Hereford beef tartare that’s lovely with a glass of rosé on a sunny afternoon.
