My FYP is full of people heading to the new M&S Pantheon store, but surprisingly, no one seemed to be talking about the beauty hall. So I went down to check it out for myself, and I wasn’t disappointed. M&S has seriously upped their beauty game. As someone who tests beauty products for a living, these are the 10 buys I’d genuinely recommend.
The skincare range that everyone is talking about at the minute – M&S, take a bow. Their own brand, SkinKind, seriously gives me Aveeno vibes, but for a fraction of the price. This oat cleanser transforms from a silky gel into a milky emulsion, for a comforting, calming cleanse that won’t strip the skin. If you have dry or sensitive skin, this hydrating, soothing formula is a must-buy (and it’s only £10!).
This has to be my all-time favourite cleansing oil. This formulation is just simply divine. Powered by Elizabeth Arden’s signature ceramide technology alongside nourishing botanical oils, it helps repair the skin’s natural barrier as it cleanses. Unlike many other cleansing oils, it rinses away beautifully without residue, making it suitable for all skin types, including combination skin.
For a treatment that leaves your hair feeling like you’ve just left the salon, Money Masque is up there with one of the best. Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton helped make this intensive hair treatment famous, and it’s easy to see why. Rich in marine botanicals and nourishing ingredients, it leaves luxe and glossy after just one use, making it the ultimate weekly treatment for damaged or colour-treated hair.
This hybrid formula gives you the nourishing feel of a lip balm with the glossy finish of a lip gloss. Packed with naturally derived fruit oils, it smooths and conditions lips while adding a soft flush of colour. It’s non-sticky, super comfortable to wear and clinically shown to improve lip smoothness over time.
Swedish beauty brand Sweed has built up a cult following, and its Lash Lift Mascara more than lives up to the hype. The lightweight formula lengthens, lifts and defines lashes without clumping, while the precision brush separates every lash for a naturally fluttery finish. It delivers the effect of a lash lift without the salon appointment and stays put all day without flaking.
M&S is having a moment for their fragrance line, and it really is worth the hype. Tonka Tabac has warm notes of tonka bean blended with smoky tobacco, creamy vanilla and soft woods to create an chic, sophisticated and perfect for evening wear. If niche-style fragrances are your thing but you want to keep an eye on your budget, this is well worth discovering.
I’ve been using this vitamin C serum for the past few weeks every morning and I am loving the glow it’s giving to my skin. Perfect if you’re looking to target any pigmentation, dark spots and uneven skintone, this hyaluronic acid plumps and nourishes the skin. Introduce this serum into your morning routine to see the benefits of the brightness it gives.
If you’re a DoubleWear OG, this latest launch will definitely covert you. This formulation is beautiful, it really is skincare and makeup in one. This lightweight skin tint combines sheer, luminous coverage with a hydrating botanical oil infusion for a fresh, dewy and radiant finish. It nourishes skin, locks in moisture and even has SPF20 packed into the formulation.
Nuxe is so well known for their iconic body oil, but have you tried this magic serum before? It doesn’t get the limelight it deserves but it’s up there with one of the best of the market. This luxe serum combines hyaluronic acid with thousands of botanical micro-spheres infused with plant oils, that hydrate, smooth and visibly plump your skin. It works on softening fine lines and wrinkles and leaves your skin feeling baby-soft. It really is an amazing all-rounder if you’re looking for a serum that does it all.
More than just a luxurious body oil, this innovative formula combines skin-loving botanical oils with Pro-Vitamin D3 to help support overall skin health. Fast-absorbing and non-greasy, it deeply nourishes dry skin while leaving behind a subtle spa-like scent. It’s the perfect post-shower treat you can quickly spritz on without waiting around for product to sink in.
