Off Campus Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

Ever since its release last month, Off Campus has had the internet in a collective chokehold. Based on the Elle Kennedy book series, the Amazon Prime show was an instant hit, immediately leaving viewers eager for more. The good news? Fans may just be in luck with a new season set to arrive much sooner than expected. Here is everything you need to know.

What happened in season 1?

Set against the backdrop of the fictional Briar University, the first season delivered a classic, high-stakes opposites-attract romance. The plot followed Hannah Wells, a bookish music major who detests hockey, and Garrett Graham, Briar U’s golden-boy hockey captain. When Garrett desperately needed to raise his philosophy grades to stay on the ice, and Hannah wanted to grab the attention of her campus crush, the duo struck a mutually beneficial deal – Hannah tutored Garrett in exchange for a high-profile ‘fake relationship’ to spark some jealousy.

When is season 2 coming out?

The good news is that season 2 has already been confirmed. In fact, Prime Video green-lit a second instalment before the first was even released. While an exact date is yet to be released, we do know that filming is about to commence, so we won’t have to wait too long.

Fortunately, the show also follows the Bridgerton blueprint, with Elle Kennedy’s book series featuring a rotating lineup of university couples, meaning there is no shortage of drama left to adapt.

What will the new season be about?

Prime Video has revealed that season 2 of Off Campus will focus on Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis, played by Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn. Series creator Louisa Levy has confirmed all eight scripts for season two are already written, and noted that book fans will have a lot to look forward to. Hannah and Garrett aren’t going anywhere either and will remain part of the ensemble cast.

Season 2 fan theories

The news of a new season has fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation, with theories already beginning to circulate. One took to Instagram to write: “I hope they keep that Allie is the one who breaks up with Dean, though. That’s part of her journey: choosing to be alone to prove to herself that she can.”

Another fan commented: “My theory is it ends with Grace going to Paris with her mom and then kicking off season 3 with Logan trying to win her back! 👀”

Expressing their excitement for the new season, one also jokingly added: “Can this season drop YESTERDAY?!?”
