In the words of Brigitte Bardot; ‘Champagne is the one thing that gives me zest when I feel tired’ and we couldn’t agree with her more. Not only does it have fewer calories than any other alcoholic tipple but it can’t help but make you feel sophisticated, not that we needed any excuse to divulge in a glass or two. Whether it’s pink, with strawberries or your everyday classic Moet, we’ve rounded up our favourite Champagne Bars to go and enjoy the good stuff. And good stuff it has to be, we’ll be able to tell if it’s ‘Charlemagne’….
Gorgeous and elegantly chic Georgian bar in Soho
‘Only the unimaginative can fail to find a reason to drink Champagne.’ Clink, clink to that Oscar Wilde. He, as well as the likes of Agatha Christie and Bing Cosby, were known to be regulars here and there is no surprise why. Not only does it have one of the most extensive champagne lists in London with over one hundred varieties (if you know what your looking for), the bar has two bookable ‘nooks’ for extra privacy. The perfect place to gather your mates for a special occasion…like getting to the midweek Humpday for example?

London's highest Champagne Bar
Tag yourself in and get your panoramic app at the ready at one of the highest and stylish bars in London. Located at the top of Tower 42, this is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day at the office, taking in the impressive views of the City with some Cocktail Vinci Olives and a flute (not the instrument kind). Try out three different champagnes from the Laurent-Perrier range, our favourite being the Orange & Raspberry Champagne Cocktail.

Bubbles and dogs
For something a little less la de dar and a cool alternative to the grand champagne bars, check out this unique and friendly place. You would normally pair Champagne with Caviar and Hotdogs with fries but being ‘normal’ is boring right? The main thing is that this new pairing won’t disappoint. Our fav is the Mac Daddy (macaroni & cheese, crispy onions, and bacon bits) teamed with a glass of ‘A little pink won’t hurt’ (Juillet-Lallement, Rosé), which we can assure you won’t, if you don’t polish off the whole bottle that is…

Champagne and Cigars
This historic grade II listed building is apparently setting a new precedence for London’s social scene as a new haunt for champagne drinkers and cigar lovers alike. Crank up that celebration whatever it may be and book a private VIP area, which are transformed prison vaults complete with your own personal waiter. Intrigued? We definitely were. Enjoy some Pommery Champagne with the Chef’s signature dim sum platter including Scallop shumai and chicken and spinach dumplings.

A bit like being on the Orient Express
Time travel back to the 1920’s and imagine yourself in an art deco train carriage, chatting with friends and sipping on some Champers. And here you are. This amazing bar has gone all out with its train like interior and fancy curtains creating intimate booths for an unforgettable evening (make sure you book ahead). Feel a little like royalty while you indulge on the Alverta Cavier or Grilled Oysters with béarnaise sauce. You can even push the ‘Press for Champagne’ button when you need a top up, oh how the other half live!
