HIIT Yoga Mash Up
If you don’t want to spend your weekend in the gym then head to Another Space where you can get two workouts in one with their mashup classes. You’ll get half an hour of explosive, pulse raising high intensity training and 30 minutes of relaxing yoga. Choose the order you do it in and leave feeling more relaxed and ready to take on the weekend.

Rooftop skating
If hanging out in a carpark doesn’t sound like a decent way to spend a weekend then think again. Skylight at Tobacco Dock in Wapping plays host to London’s only rooftop icerink. Located on the top floor of a carpark, it’s not just skating on offer, there’s copious amounts of fondue, mulled wine, craft beers and seasonal cocktails, all the to beat of live DJs.

Bonfire fun
Lambeth’s main firework display at Brockwell Park in Herne Hill is this year themed on A Night At The Movies. The music accompanying the fireworks will feature tracks from famous films, but the real draw for us will be the range of food options on offer, with stalls from Jolly Hog & Sausage, Porkys BBQ, Get Wurst, Elley’s Doughnut Bar and Mac to the Future among others.

Book Ahead: Make the Most of Your Time
What would you do if you had an extra hour each day? Sleep, head to the gym, learn something? Chances are we’d waste it on another box set…Freedom Brewery reckon we would too, which is why next week they are taking over the Cubitt House pubs to host a series of activities such as beer yoga, wreath making and pottery to help us make the most of our time. They start at 6pm and the first 50 people at each venue get a free pint of Freedom too. Don’t waste any time getting there then.

Old Fashioned Week Tour
It’s Old Fasioned Week! And as the official bourbon of the event Wild Turkey will be running a series of guided tours. Follow the animated tour guide around three secret central London bars who will be making some of the best Wild Turkey 101 Old Fashioneds in the Capital. The tour will include meeting the mixers crafting the cocktails as well as learining the history behind Wild Turkey‘s Master Distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell, the world’s only active father/son duo who have nearly 100 years bourbon making experience between them, and take in tips and tricks to make the perfect Wild Turkey 101 Old Fashioned at home.

Craft Beer Pairings
Get crafty this weekend with the Craft London bar team who will be putting on a special event with beer enthusiast, Guardian writer and self-styled sommALEier (geddit?) Melissa Cole for a special beer and canapé pairing to celebrate the release of her latest book, entitled The Little Book of Craft Beer: A Guide to Over 100 of the World’s Finest Brews. The event will give guests to opportunity to enjoy pairings of 5 beers and 5 canapés, featuring a selection of brews carefully chosen by Cole and including Gipsy Hill’s‘Hepcat’ and Mondo’s ‘London Alt.’ All paired with a range of canapés from Craft London’s kitchen, and including ‘IPA-cured beef croquette’, ‘smoked cod’s roe’ and ‘wild leaf tempura’.
