Luxury Bottomless Brunch: Our Top Picks
Wagtail
From stunning interiors and 360-degree views of the city, to impressive dining, beautiful cocktails and bottomless Della Vite weekend brunch, London’s newest rooftop bar and restaurant Wagtail is effortlessly chic and utterly delicious.
Just north of Monument station, enter the site of the old House Of Fraser building, ascend the lift to the ninth floor and you’ll find yourself in the restaurant, where a DJ and stylish interiors greet you, an outdoor terrace awaits, and bottomless brunch is the order of the day. This is still somewhat of a hidden gem for such a prime city location, and a glorious find for those in-the-know – especially once you catch a glimpse of those views. As well as incredible sightlines of The Shard and Tower Bridge, the views across London Bridge and the Monument are vantage points you won’t have seen before.
Effortlessly chic and utterly delicious - it's one of London's most luxurious brunch spots.
The rooftop venture puts Executive Chef Phil Kearsey at the helm of the kitchen, and the weekend brunch menu is a celebration of seasonal ingredients. Highlights include a selection of cheese and cured meat to start, followed by Crab Cake Benedict with Poached egg and hollandaise. For mains, we recommend the 90-day Somerset Saxon chicken thigh waffle with a fried duck egg and maple syrup. On the side, opt for triple cooked chips with truffle and parmesan, and Chargrilled baby gem with anchovy dressing.
Of course, this is all washed down by the best part – a choice of free-flowing Della Vite Superiore DOCG or Rosé Prosecco, one of our personal favourite fizzes from the Delevingne sisters, which staff keep generously topped up throughout the meal. Decadent, indulgent, and delicious – it’s the perfect way to spend the weekend at one of London’s most luxurious brunch spots.
