A Must-Visit Marilyn Monroe Exhibition Is Coming To London

Marilyn Monroe fans, this is for you. A new exhibition dedicated to the icon is coming to London, and sign-up for priority access tickets is now open. ‘MARILYN – The Exhibition‘ will trace Monroe’s life from childhood, when she was known as Norma Jeane Mortenson, through to her untimely death in 1962.
“The first of its kind in the UK, the new exhibition will showcase 250 historical objects from the largest private collection in the world.” reads the announcement post on The Arches, London Bridge’s Instagram (where the exhibition will be held). “Handwritten notes, childhood drawings, letters, family photographs, books, scripts and props from her films are among the meticulously curated treasures.”
The items on display come from Ted Stampfer’s private collection, The BBC reports, and include Monroe’s love letters, satin robes, and memorabilia from her shoots.
“It’s wonderful to be able to share these unique pieces which can give us a real insight into her life, allowing us today to get closer to the real Marilyn Monroe and her true identity,” Stampfer told The BBC.
MARILYN – The Exhibition opens on 18th October, 2024. For more information and to sign up for priority access, visit www.marilynlondonbridge.co.uk.
