Belgravia in Bloom

It’s the season of florals and there’s no dearth of beautiful installations in the city. Belgravia in Bloom returns this month, bringing with it a week of colourful floral displays brought to life by the neighbourhood’s iconic florists who will no doubt cement its status as one of London’s most “Instagrammable” neighbourhoods. Throughout the festival, there will also be floral themed events, offers and experiences, including themed floral products, menus and cocktails.

Self-Portrait’s new pre-fall pop-up

To celebrate the launch of its new Pre-Fall collection, London-based self-portrait will be opening its first UK pop-up which will recreate the recording studio setting which served as the backdrop to its latest campaign starring the Korean multi-award-winning musician, Jisoo. Fans will be able to step into Jisoo’s shoes, take their own self-portrait’s and explore the collection.

The Rolling Stones Photo Exhibition at Bar 190  

Get a behind the scenes look at unseen photographs taken by Carinthia West, a close friend of The Rolling Stones. The Hanging With The Stones showcase will be held fittingly at Bar 190, where the band once hosted their Beggars Banquet album launch party in 1968.

If you’re a fan, pop over to pour yourself a drink, and enjoy some rock ‘n’ roll.

Chef Aaron Potter’s residency at Naughty Piglets

Chef Aaron Potter will take over the kitchen at Naughty Piglets for a six week residency that promises to  bring the warmth of the Mediterranean to London. You’ll find European dishes on the menu including wild garlic moules farci and grilled sweetbreads with tzatziki and cuttlefish rice.

The Vintage Supermarket by Merchant & Found

If you love vintage furniture and craft, you will adore this 6,000 sq.ft. Vintage Supermarket that is coming to Soho for four days. The supermarket aims to champion the makers of vintage furniture and lighting and celebrates craftsmanship on various mediums including textiles, paper, glass, stone and wood as well as endangered heritage crafts.

A Summer of Comedy

An Edible Flower Demonstration

Sketch in Bloom Exhibition

The tenth edition of sketch in Bloom, will feature large-scale installations, dreamy landscapes, abstract ceiling pieces and even the chance to encounter art come to life, all to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the National Gallery.

Fatto a Mano and Franco Pepe  Collaboration

Known for being one of the stars of Netflix’s Chef’s Table: Pizza, Franco Pepe is bringing his signature Margherita Sbagliata (winner of the “world’s best pizza” by Best Chef Awards) to the UK for the first time. Plus, for each pizza sold, £1.50 will be donated to La Scugnizzeria, a charity in Scampia, Italy, that provides local children with the opportunity to learn essential skills, from theatre to pizza making.

‘The Italian Job’ Charity Dinner 

Three world-renowned chefs, Theo Randall, Francesco Mazzei and Jacob Kenedy will join forces to host a four-course charity dinner that will take guests on a gastronomic journey across Italy. Each course will be paired with a regional Italian wine and there will be a post-dinner charity auction to raise funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity).

Book ahead: Taste of London

This year, Taste of London is celebrating 20 years of hosting the ultimate food and drink festival in London. Some of London’s most iconic restaurants and chefs will be serving up incredible culinary experiences in Regent’s Park. Look forward to The Shard’s Oblix featuring an array of urban rotisserie and grill inspired dishes; Kolamba showcasing Sri-Lankan style home cooking with a vibrant blend of curries, sambols, and rotis; YOPO at The Mandrake with bold flavours from Buenos Aires, Santiago and Lima and an Italian extravaganza with Big Mamma Group’s Circolo Popolare and Sicilian-inspired favourite, Norma. Plus, El Jimador Tequila will be serving tequila cocktails and Jack Daniel’s will be joining the party for the first time with some colourful cocktails.

The Roseblood Terrace at Pan-Pacific London

Pan-Pacific London’s Terrace on the Plaza is set to open on 8th May in collaboration with the French rosé, Roseblood. Expect the terrace to be transformed into a garden oasis with a sharing menu featuring charcuterie, fromage, crudités and Mediterranean flatbreads alongside Roseblood wines and cocktails. A cocktail to look forward to is The Rose, crafted with Roseblood Rosé, Chambord and fresh berries.

Hithe + Seek’s 8-Course Tasting Menu

This limited edition menu offers eight delicious courses that combine Hithe + Seek’s Head Chef, Fabio de Paolis’ knowledge of ingredients with James Sharp’s expertise in fine dining and street food.
