31st October 2023 | By Lottie Woodrow

We can’t quite believe we’re saying this, but Christmas really does feel like it’s creeping up and this November’s pop-up edition is proof. We’ve rounded up the best pop-ups landing this month, from Wishmas, the new narrative from the team behind Secret Cinema, to cosy alpine chalets. Here’s what to look out for.

Feliz Rioja

Wine lovers, this one’s for you… Throughout November, independent retailers, restaurants and wine bars across the UK will be taking part in Feliz Rioja, a month-long celebration of Spain’s finest wine-producing region. From in-store tastings and wine flights to masterclasses and wine pairings, it’s a chance to discover the region’s unique offerings in the run-up to the holiday season.

Raise a glass of Rioja at one of over 100 participating outlets. Bookmark Blanco & Gomez Wine Merchant’s complimentary tasting of Rioja by the glass on Saturday 25th November from 2pm or head to one of Lea & Sandeman’s venues for Rioja samplings on Fridays and Saturdays. With venues in vibrant and bustling Tooting & Brixton markets, specialist Spanish tapas bar and wine shop The Tapas Room, is creating an elevated dining experience for diners over the month, with three premium Rioja wines by the bottle on the menu. Discover your perfect bottle of Rioja in store and stay a while to raise a glass with friends.

Fancy buying a bottle? Head to a specialist retailer to take advantage of the in-store samples and promotions. Retailers include Dulwich Vintners, Cult Wines, Albion Wine, Streatham Wine House, and 7P Aperitivo (online).
