Meet Rhian Stephenson – The Wellness Founder Whose Habits We’re Stealing

Meet Rhian Stephenson, founder of Artah and the kind of woman who makes wellness feel smart, stylish, and actually doable. From the habits she swears by to the rituals that keep her feeling energised and grounded, this is a peek inside the routine of someone who truly lives what she teaches. Consider it your cue to take notes because in 2026, we’re all aiming to be a little more Rhian.
Personal wellness & daily rituals

What does your morning ritual look like right now, and has it evolved over the years?
My kids are 3 and 5, so I don’t have a particularly good morning ‘ritual’. My mornings are pretty hectic, but the thing I prioritise is getting in my supplements and, whenever possible, training. If I train on weekday mornings, I’m up at 5:30am and start the day with coffee and our Cellular Hydration and Essential Creatine. On the other days, I’m up earlier to get work admin done and, in both cases, I’m done by 7am so I can get the kids fed and ready, and then it’s a mad rush to get everyone sorted, to school, and then me on to work.
What’s one small daily practice that makes the biggest difference to your wellbeing?
For me, the lowest lift habits that make a difference are supplements. It takes seconds but offers me so much support, especially when my schedule is hectic.
Is there one wellness habit you consider truly life-changing?
It’s not very exciting, but staying consistent with exercise and nutrition are the most life-changing things I think you can do.
How do you unwind at the end of a long day? Any evening rituals you never skip?
We created a lymphatic detox routine in our 10 Day Reset, and I’ve been loving doing this every night. It uses a body gua sha and helps me switch off, get into my body, and relax. I take Essential Magnesium every night to help with sleep, and I often try to do a little breathwork or stretching, even if it’s just 5 minutes; it makes a difference.

Beauty & skincare
Talk us through your current skincare routine. What are your non-negotiables?
This year I tried simplifying my routine and to be honest, it didn’t really work for me. I think my skin loves a good 5-step routine! I’m using Alumier MD, which is an incredible brand, and it’s made a huge difference to my skin. And I also love doing cold facial plunges to support circulation and tone. From a supplement standpoint, Advanced Multi Nutrient, Essential Fibre+ and Essential Omegas are what keep my skin looking as healthy as possible.
Are there any beauty products or treatments you’ve used for years and still swear by?
I love my red-light mask and have had that for a few years now. I’ve been doing skin needling for years as well, but in 2025, I did a course of Lutronic laser sessions and polynucleotides with Dr Nina Bell, and it dramatically improved my skin quality.
What’s your biggest beauty indulgence?
Laser and great quality skin care. I’ve tried so many brands but have realised that I get the best results from the professional brands, which are often the most expensive.
Now that I’m time-poor, I’m far more discerning about the treatments I invest in, and I’ve generally dropped facials because I don’t have the time.
How has your approach to beauty shifted as you’ve moved through different stages of life?
I think I’ve been fairly consistent, but now that I’m time-poor, I’m far more discerning about the treatments I invest in, and I’ve generally dropped facials because I don’t have the time. As you get older, I also think it becomes far more obvious that sleep, nutrition, and stress levels show up on your face, so approaching these as non-negotiable parts of your beauty routine is important.
Health, nutrition & lifestyle
What does a typical day of eating look like for you, and how do you like to start your mornings nutritionally?
I have a few set breakfasts that I love. We have a nuts and seed loaf at ARTAH, so I often make this and have it with smoked salmon and tomato, or tomato and avocado. I love scrambled tofu with avocado, protein shakes, and overnight oats, and I often eat leftovers if I need something more substantial and higher in protein. I can’t eat eggs or dairy, so I need to be a little more creative with breakfast to get a decent amount of protein.
Are there any supplements or ingredients you personally rely on?
Definitely. My general stack is Essential Creatine, Enhanced NAD+ Complex, and Advanced Multi Nutrient. I also take Essential Fibre+ on days I’m time poor, have a longer fasting window, or am overtired and need more support with my blood sugar, and Essential Magnesium at night before bed.
Do you follow a particular style of training or movement?
If I could only do cardio, I would. I love running, but I know how important strength is, so I also do a few weight sessions each week and then either a barre or reformer class.
How do you support your mental health, especially during busy periods?
I tend to use exercise as my primary outlet, but I know I need to be more balanced with this. In June, I broke my foot, and because I’m not the best at non-activity stress management, it was a big mental setback. I gravitate toward yin yoga and breathwork, and I often use an app called Reveri, which I find extremely helpful for stress management.
What’s your favourite way to reset when you feel run-down or out of balance?
I love a great massage.
Mindset & inspiration
What mindset practices or philosophies guide your well-being?
Something I truly believe is that the discipline of self-care creates space and energy; without it, we end up ruled by moods instead of intention, which is a much harder place to navigate from – for me at least. I’m often asked how I stay motivated to exercise and eat well when everything is stressful, and my answer is that I’m not always motivated, but I’m disciplined. If I waited for motivation to be able to exercise, I would rarely do it! If you create discipline from a place of self-care rather than punishment, it can be transformational. I know that the practice and commitment to it completely transform my energy, my day, and my overall health.
What’s one wellness myth you wish people would stop believing?
I think it’s important to embrace the fact that ‘wellness’ is truly a lifelong practice; there is no single quick fix or secret ingredient that will make you well without effort. It’s consistent nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management that are the basics. Supplements can help get you to the next level as well, but you still need to put in the work.

Who or what inspires your approach to holistic health?
My own experience with my health is my primary source of inspiration. As a child, I was chronically sick, and despite seeing multiple doctors for years, it wasn’t until I was about 18 that we uncovered what was wrong. When I was able to address this, it completely changed my world. I stopped being ill, I had so much energy, and for the first time, I felt truly well. This experience really sparked my passion for wellbeing. When I went on to study, learning how many simple tools we have at our disposal – whether it be movement, breath, lifestyle changes, supplements, or nutrition – to help us feel well was super inspiring.
What’s the biggest lesson wellness has taught you about yourself?
I need to be as disciplined with my mental well-being as I am with my physical well-being. I’m great at prioritising food and movement, where I’m not so great is really getting into a habit of mindfulness, breathwork, or something that will help me proactively manage my stress.
Lifestyle
What’s the one thing you always travel with to stay well on the go?
Supplements and an exercise band.
If you had one hour entirely to yourself, how would you spend it?
Probably sleep or a massage!
What wellness or beauty trend are you excited about heading into 2026 and which one are you ready to leave behind?
I’m excited to see how the world of skin boosters keeps evolving. Last year, I tried polynucleotides and loved the results, but already, everything has moved on so much. I’m definitely going to be doing whatever is next here!
