An iconic re-born setting spray, the new ‘neutral’ eyeshadow shade, sculpting tools and Kylie Jenner’s new fragrances; these are the beauty launches and trends currently on my radar.
Move over, warm brown smoky eyes. The beauty mood is shifting cooler, and soft pink and lilac eyes are having a serious moment. Armani Beauty’s Eye Tint in Mauve is the perfect way to tap into the trend without going full pastel. This flattering cool-toned lilac nude works beautifully on every skin tone and has a silky, matte texture that glides onto the lids and stays put all day. Think soft-focus, sophisticated colour rather than a traditional smoky eye, it’s the new way to do neutral.
Kylie Jenner has expanded her fragrance wardrobe with Mood Stone, a trio of scents designed to capture different moods and moments. Each fragrance has its own personality, making the collection perfect for layering or choosing your scent for an occasion or vibe. It’s Kylie’s signature approach to fragrance, but with a more personal, mood-led twist. Plus the packaging is super chic.
Celebrity makeup artist Cassie Lomas, whose client list includes Perrie Edwards, Lady Gaga and Rita Ora, has launched her own makeup line, and the packaging alone is enough to make it a beauty-bag essential. Think chic aesthetic packaging, hard-working formulations and the brilliant tagline ‘beauty that lets you breathe’. My standout is the Colour Wand in Coral Glow, which gives the dreamiest, glowiest flush to the cheeks, but the clever multi-use formula can also be swept onto eyes and lips too. One product, three ways to wear it. Love!
The latest beauty-tech obsession is all about depuffing, using temperature, massage and sculpting technology to help wake up the skin and create a more defined-looking complexion. My top pick is the Therabody Depuffing Tool, which combines heat and cold so you can customise your treatment depending on what your skin needs. The other one to add to your wishlist? Shark Depuffi, which goes beyond sculpting with exfoliation and hydration too. It’s like giving yourself a hydrafacial at home. Think of them as your high-tech answer to looking instantly more refreshed.
If you’ve always been an Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray OG, then you’ll be happy about this beauty news. The All Nighter spray was axed by Urban Decay, but thankfully for us, MCo Beauty has bought the formulation, repackaged and launched this as their new All Dayer setting spray. And the best thing is that you can get that long-wearing, makeup-locking finish for a more affordable price now too. Mist it over your makeup to help everything stay fresh, flawless and locked in place.
