From new brands to know and lip balms that plump, to posh hand wash and new scents on the block, these are the beauty products to have on your radar this month.
1.
The much-anticipated Prada beauty has launched in the UK and the collection is just as stylish as you’d expect from the designer fashion house. Featuring two collections: Prada Skin and Prada Color. Well-known for its signature triangle design, the beauty line mirrors the shape with triangular eyeshadows and lipstick bullets, plus luxurious pots of cream, all housed in a futuristic, reflective silver packaging that wows. It’s hard to pick a favourite, but I particularly love the vibrant colours of the Dimensions Durable Eyeshadow Palette in 1, £65.
2.
This new own-brand, skincare range from the iconic British retailer is a collection of simple, effective products which are charged with science-led ingredients at affordable prices. What’s not to like? Categorised in three sub ranges Glow, Hydrate and Clarify, making it easy to pick and choose according to your skin type, removing all the confusion out of skincare and keeping your routine minimal. Easy peasy skincare right here!

Around since flares were first in fashion, the Vitamin E range was part of Body Shop founder Anita Roddick’s original offering in the 1970s and was one of the first products that I was introduced to by my mum when I was learning to take care of my skin in my early teens. This best-selling range welcomes a new serum with a pink, shake-to-wake bi-phase formula rich in vitamin E and hyaluronic acid to lock in hydration for up to 30hrs. An affordable buy which is punching well above its weight. Highly recommend.
4.
A new category for my favourite hardworking budget brand. This works like a nourishing lip balm delivers the same lip plumping power you expect but, in a good-for-lips way. No sting, no zing, just a lip balm with lots of added extras to give your lips an added boost.
5.
A posh name for a hand wash, this hand ‘gel’, is beautifully scented with tonka bean, cedar, and juniper berries, that creates a light, silky foam with an exhilarating scent that conveys the smell of smokey Parisian boulevards and looks super luxe in my bathroom with a no-touch rule for my kids.
6.
10 years since the launch of the unrivalled success of the original Magic Cream comes this weightless new moisturiser that drenches skin with hydration, yet visibly revives like its predecessor for the best dewy, glass-like finish. Infused with a new Waterlocking Fusion TechnologyTM – a hydrating blend of ingredients that actively train the skin barrier to retain more moisture and unlock 100-hour hydration. Consider this your post-summer skin reviver.

Anyone that often reads the HB beauty pages will know I am a HUGE fan of u003ca href=u0022https://www.thehandbook.com/cleansing-balms-that-remove-water-resistant-makeup-and-spf/u0022u003ecleansing balmsu003c/au003e and this buttery-soft formula that turns into a silky oil gets top marks from me. A rich balm texture that effectively cleanses and removes makeup without drying skin. It’s full of active ingredients that attach themselves to skin once the balm is washed away leaving a collagen-rich film and gorgeous scent in its path. And as with all FaceGym products, the balm is equipped with a QR code which can be scanned to unlock a facial workout to follow while the cleansing balm sits on your skin to maximise results.

When I first unboxed this product, it was like all my Christmas’s had come at once! Chic, sophisticated and perfectly formed to fit into the palm of a hand. Beyond the ‘Logomania’ packaging, this multi-tasker has a soothing balm texture that can be used to hydrate lips, hands, body, the lot. The most stylish handbag-friendly beauty essential, EVER!rn

Inspired by the gorgeous hues of America’s wild mustangs and their rocky western landscape, the limited-edition collection consists of two luminescent eye shades, two matte eye shades and two lip veils for a warm look which is the perfect fit for autumnal days (and fits well with the current u003ca href=u0022https://www.thehandbook.com/latte-makeup/u0022u003elatte makeup trendu003c/au003e. If like me, you need a valid excuse to buy more makeup, then you’ll be thrilled to know that the funds raised from this collection support the American Wild Horse Campaign and their work protecting a recently discovered isolated herd of wild horses in Utah’s Cedar Mountains. Everyone’s a winner!

Every time I catch a glimpse of this u003ca href=u0022https://www.thehandbook.com/the-only-make-up-brushes-you-actually-need/u0022u003ebrush setu003c/au003e, I want to hug it. The word obsessed comes to mind. The attention to detail is beyond beautiful while these essential brushes that are housed in a zip-up fine leather tube is frankly all you need to pack for the office, the gym, or a staycation. Available in nine colourways with each hue referencing some of the most iconic colours in the Chanel family: Ballerina, Rouge Noir, Immortelle and more. It’s undeniably expensive but it really is an incredibly special purchase that will last and last.

Imagine sun-warmed orchards filled with rows and rows of luscious green pears. This garden-fresh light floral fragrance has been created using 100% natural pear fruit extract with each bottle containing the equivalent of one pear, while sweet pea adds a floral addition. I’ve been spritzing this since it arrived on my desk and already had several complements, which for me is the ultimate scent test.rnrn

No, that’s not a typo, this serum is eye-wateringly expensive, but I’ve used it religiously for three months and can honestly see the results on my own skin. Four years in the making, this hi-tech serum is packed with 16 actives, has incredible clinical results, and powers up skin cells like no other, thanks to a signature prebiotic and marine complex. The brand’s ethos is “working with skin, not against it,” and this is certainly the case with the positive effects it has had on my skin. Start saving now!rnrn
