Darjeeling Express at The Pembroke
Asma Khan, renowned Indian-born British chef, cookbook author and restaurateur, is known for her flavour-packed dishes. Earlier this year she opened up Darjeeling Express in Covent Garden. It’s currently closed while Asma and her team launch a new iteration of the restaurant later this year, but that isn’t stopping them from cooking up a storm. They’ve recently launched a pop-up at Kensington’s The Pembroke, offering a taste of the chef’s renowned dishes.
Look forward to a selection of delights such as tangra prawns with dried red chillies and garlic; chilli cheese toastie with green chilli chutney, chopped onions and chillies; methi chicken in a rich tomato based gravy; kala chana with chillies and ginger; and tamarina dal.

Happy Endings Pop-Up
Who said ice cream was reserved for summer? Happy Endings has launched another pop-up and this time it’s located in Shoreditch!
The pop-up will be taking over Goddard & Gibbs’ hatch at One Hundred Shoreditch for three months. Think luxe soft serves, sundaes topped with treats and ice cream sandwiches you won’t want to miss.

Great Objects Pop-Up

Taking over Netil Market until September 18th, the pop-up will be welcoming exciting new brands, as well as launching exclusive collaborations. Holy Carrot at Bicester Village
London favourite Holy Carrot has popped up at the luxury shopping destination Bicester Village for six months. The restaurant’s iconic airstream can be found at the shopping destination until the end of the year, serving up its signature dishes to hungry shoppers.
There’ll be a wide range of options, from plant-based breakfasts to tea, coffee and smoothies available for takeaway. Expect the perfect vegan to-go options, from overnight bircher pots and pastries to maki sets, caesar salads and miso caramel mousse. As well as wraps and burger options too.

Personal Growth Series at Coppa Club

Fur & Feathers Pop-Up Exhibition
Opera Gallery is hosting a series of pop-up exhibitions in the coming months, starting with Fur & Feathers by Lita Cabellut. The artist’s fourth exhibition at the gallery, it focuses on the surface of the skin, from how we perceive to how it’s exposed to the outside, light, darkness, pain and pleasure. Expect to explore some really powerful and poignant paintings, expressed through colour and style.

Museum of Sex Objects
A museum dedicated to sexual objects is on its way to London this month. Taking over arts space, The Horse Hospital, the pop-up exhibition will tell stories of sexual heroes, moments and places in time, spanning over two thousands years and covering a range of topics.
Throughout September, there will be a host of talks with historians and experts delving into sexual history, linking between the centuries from witchcraft to the early LGBTQ+ community, the feminist appeal of Japanese rope art to word-of-mouth underground club scenes.

Greenwich + Docklands Festival
Celebrating its 27th year, Greenwich will be packed out with events continuing through August and September.
Expect free outdoor performances from some of the world’s rising stars and installations, including street theatre and voguing from the House of Oak and Iron; an immersive playground with The Sky is Filled with Thunder; and Charon, a giant 32ft high rotating zoetrope with posed skeletons on the edge.

Banking on Banksy
A brand new exhibition dedicated to Banksy has landed. On display from this week until the 15th September, the exhibition will display works from across the iconic artist’s career.
Expect to be able to see pieces like Girl With a Red Balloon, Happy Choppers, Laugh Now and Christ With Shopping Bags in the flesh.
