Book a West End show
You don’t need an entourage to enjoy a West End show. We recommend checking out The Devil Wears Prada musical that’s got a terrific soundtrack by *drumroll* by Elton John. See Vanessa Williams take on the role of the iconic Miranda Priestly and Georgie Buckland as Andy. Or check out our London theatre guide for more exciting options.

Treat yourself to a massage
Nothing say self-love like a spa day all to yourself. For an incredible facial or massage, head to Pan-Pacific London’s gorgeous spa for a treatment that promises lots of pampering. Visit an independent bookstore
Head to one of London’s beautiful independent bookshops and spend some quality time away from your screen as you browse books new and old. And then settle down in a corner with your treasured find to read or take your book to a park if it’s a sunny day. Some of our favourite bookstores to visit is Daunt Books (now with locations across London) and South Kensington Books.

Treat yourself to something sweet
Nothing says solo date like a little dessert or something sinfully chocolate – we love Badiani for their fantastic artisanally made gelato and hot chocolate that we can literally dream about. And the best part about going alone? You don’t have to share.

Visit a new exhibition
There’s a beautiful new flower exhibition that’s now open at the Saatchi Gallery, and it looks like a must-see. Featuring over 500 artworks and objects spread across two floors and nine gallery spaces, this exhibition titled “Flowers – Flora in Contemporary Art & Culture” is stunning for a solo outing in the city to capture something beautiful.

You don’t need to be with someone to enjoy a little staycation, and there are some fab London hotels perfect for it. We love a stay at Broadwick Soho just because it’s just a hotel with so much personality. Head to the stunning Flute or Bar Jackie for cocktails, or spin some vinyl at The Nook – there are plenty of cosy corners where you can unwind.
