See The Savoy’s Magical Christmas Decorations – Just Unveiled
The Savoy has unveiled its magical Christmas decor for 2022, and the iconic hotel has gone back to its theatre roots for this year’s theme, which is “It’s Showtime”. The Savoy has partnered with Champagne Laurent-Perrier to create the festive magic.
Décor has a distinctly dramatic theme, with red velvet swags, mirrored baubles and a little stage where guests can become the stars of the show and create fun festive images. Drama is also the order of the day at Claridges, who recently shared details their ‘Diamond’ Jimmy Choo Christmas tree, which will be officially unveiled on 23rd November.
In the Thames Foyer, Laurent-Perrier champagne flows from trolleys bedecked by bijou theatre sets placed around the salon, while the gazebo centrepiece is decorated with glistening baubles, designed to be reminiscent of sparkling Champagne bubbles.
Guests who order a coupe of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé will enjoy a Christmas-scented bubble blown onto the top which has been designed to popped so guests can “send their positive promise out to the universe in a mist of the seasonal scents of spices and berries”.
As well as the foyer decorations, The Savoy’s iconic Festive Afternoon Tea, from £75pp, is now available to guests. Those wanting the Laurent-Perrier bubble will need to book the Festive Afternoon Tea with La Cuvée Rose, from £100pp.
