With summer edging closer and holidays now within reach, it’s time to snap up your new cozzie. We’ve compiled an epic collection of this year’s swimwear trends to guide you through the terrifying prospect.

Anyone else excited? Temps are rising, trips abroad are finally in the diary. I am beside myself. Now all I need to do is sort my holiday wardrobe and the all-important array of bikinis and swimsuits. It can be daunting, but like a fashion fairy godmother, I’ve pulled together all my favourite finds just for you. Below isn’t just the best swimwear, but all key swimwear trends 2025.

The simple triangle style remains a staple. However, we’re seeing a huge return to balconette styles. More beautifully described as petal-top bikinis, this underwired cut is giving serious goddess vibes. Omnes, Abercrombie and River Island have some gorgeous options. If you love the ultra-glam, Arabella London and Alexandra Mira have the most stunning pieces.

Obviously, you can’t beat a black one-piece, so I have selected several of those, but why not embrace some bold colours? That striking impact of colour blocking is incredibly flattering and bold. Speaking of bold, I’m somewhat obsessed with the fabulous animal print iterations available. This trend has never been so cool, from designer cuts at The Attico to high-street options at Topshop and Albaray. I may be biased, but I’ve found some of the hottest swimwear this summer.

1. Super glam

These ultra-glamorous, feminine styles are destined for a trip to the French Riviera. Belted waists, plunging necklines and luxe embellishment will make you feel (and look) a million dollars.

2. Animal print

This trusty print is a summer fail-safe. It’s cool with a touch of sass and works beautifully with basket bags, white linens and layered gold jewellery. Boho with a sexy spin.

3. All black

4. Triangle

5. Surfer girl

Whether you’re looking for performative elements for a summer of water sports or cool, athleisure-inspired styles to show off your paddleboard skills, these impeccably cool pieces have you covered.

6. Tropical

7. Polka dots

8. Colour block

Pack a punch in bold brights that will make you easy to spot on a crowded beach. A fun addition to your holiday wardrobe, finish with brightly coloured beaded jewellery and a white linen shirt.

9. Petal tops
