From Dubai chocolate to dreamy pastel interiors, the humble pistachio has truly taken over 2025. The sweet shade is making its way into our wardrobes too and it’s the perfect hue to take you through holiday season, balmy London summers and wedding season. Here’s how to do pistachio colour like a pro.

Pistachio was dominant in the collections of everyone from Miu Miu to Gucci and Valentino. It even had a moment during red carpet season. Actors like Lupita Nyong’o, Elle Fanning, and Cynthia Erivo embraced the shade in shimmering, feather-trimmed, floor-skimming gowns.

Now, it’s cropping up everywhere and in far more wearable guises. It works beautifully in wafty linens paired with chunky beaded jewels and adds a sugar almond hue to wedding guest dressing (less predictable than pale pink or baby blue). It even looks cool in edgier cuts and fabrics – case in point: Jess Alizzi’s pistachio hued leather jacket paired with white denim.

On our hit list is a high street hero from Mango – a fluid linen suit that offers a softness to smart looks. Reiss’ corseted Liza dress, the perfect partner to a chic Italian getaway, paired with huge sunnies and tan accessories. And finally, Parfois pistachio coloured ballet flats – a surprising pop of colour to our trusty baggy jeans.

It looks like pistachio is just as versatile in fashion as it is in the M&S food hall right now. It’s hit the big time and we’re loving it.
