The White Lotus Season 4 Is Already In The Works

We’ve not even jetted off to Thailand yet for the third season of The White Lotus, but you can be safe in the knowledge that even after you’ve finished this outing, there’ll be more where it came from. That’s right, HBO has officially renewed TWL for Season 4. Here’s what we know about that future season, as well as the one debuting in February.
What does the future look like for The White Lotus?
Even though the very first season of the comedy-drama-murder mystery was intended to be a standalone, once season 2 arrived, it became clear that The White Lotus could be essentially endless. We’ve had Hawaii, Sicily and now shortly Thailand, so what warm getaway location will Season 4 take us too? Or might things be changed up to a cooler climate, like a resort in Scandinavia for example? Currently, we have no idea, but Season 4 is set to begin filming next year in 2026, and a release date sometime down the line. There’s also no known cast members confirmed yet- nor if anyone will be back from Season 3.

What about the third season in the meantime?
More imminently, Season 3 will launch next month, taking us to Thailand and the show to new heights. Set to be a “sharp social satire [as always] following the exploits of various employees and guests at an exclusive Thai resort over one highly transformative week. As darker dynamics emerge with each passing day, the series gradually reveals the complex truths of the seemingly picture-perfect travellers, cheerful hotel employees, and idyllic locale itself.” This season’s main theme, according to series creator Mike White, is spirituality, and specifically how Westerners perceive Eastern spirituality and religion.
Big cast members for the new season include Leslie Bibb (Jupiter’s Legacy), Carrie Coon (His Three Daughters), Michelle Monaghan (Echoes), Tayme Thapthimthong (Paradox), Walton Goggins (Fallout), Jason Issacs (Operation Mincemeat) Parker Posey (The Staircase) and Patrick Schwarzenegger (also The Staircase). There’ll also be appearances from Aimee Lou Wood (Sex Education) and Lalisa Manobal from the K-pop group Blackpink.
When can I watch Season 3?
Season 3 will finally debut next month on 16th February, on Sky Atlantic and NOW here in the UK. You can watch the trailer to see a glimpse of the Thailand-set action.
