Celebrate London Cocktail Week in style with Herradura’s Magical World

From Thursday 13th until Sunday 23rd, you’ll have the chance to journey through a sensory tunnel where an explosion of colour, scent, and sound awaits you. This chilled-out space will transport you away from busy Borough Yards, allowing you to get stuck in sampling a mix of cocktails from some of the nation’s best bars. 

Look forward to sampling tipples from the Flying Dutchman (13-14th), Sketch (15-16th), Gong Bar (18-19th), Hawksmoor (20th-21st), and Panda and Sons (22nd-23rd). 

Herradura’s Brand Ambassador, Dani Umoette, will also be on hand hosting masterclasses throughout London Cocktail Week. Learn more about Mexico’s sacred spirit as you put your senses through their paces as you try three Herradura cocktails.

Catch this ironic exhibition by David Sachon

On display during Frieze Week, Daniel Sachon will be revealing a never-before-seen photographic series titled BITCHES. Head over to Soho’s Greek Street to take a peek at these tongue-in-cheek photographs, portraying canines that hilariously mirror their human friends. 

The series was shot across London and Los Angeles and features a stunning selection of women and dogs alongside one another. The series hopes to celebrate the characteristics of women being daring and unabashed in a fun, original way.

Whether you’re a musical enthusiast, love the glistening costumes, or just want to learn more about the inner workings of theatre life, the V&A’s new exhibition Re:Imagining Musicals is a must-see. 

Opening on Saturday 15th, the exhibition champions the wonderful world of musical theatre, from its evolution to the brilliant and dedicated craftsmanship behind some of the world’s biggest performances. 

Expect to see posters, costumes, memorabilia and set designs from musicals including Miss Saigon, My Fair Lady, SIX the Musical and Everyone’s Talking About Jamie.

Celebrate Black History Month at CURLYTREATS Festival

The annual celebration of black hair, history and heritage, CURLYTREATS Festival, returns this Black History Month. 

This year’s event, taking place on October 15th, will be centred around Black Hair Stories, taking visitors on a journey from the Motherland to the Windrush Era and beyond. The day festival will explore the history and beauty of afro hair and the cultural hairstyles over the ages.  

Expect an array of activities to take place, from creative workshops to hair care seminars, and hairstyling workshops to engaging conversations and film screenings.

Literary lovers, you’ll want to bookmark this one. Starring Emma Mackey (Sex Education), Emily is a brand new film that charts the life and legacy of the British literary icon: Emily Bronte. 

Directed by Frances O’Connor in her directorial debut, the biopic will offer a deeper look into the author of Wuthering Heights, as well as focus on her close-knit bond to her sisters, Charlotte and Anne; her first love; and her relationship with her brother.

Grab a pint at this beer festival

Beer lovers, listen in… St Pancras International will be hosting its fifth Beer Festival this weekend. To celebrate the destination’s heritage as a station ‘built of beer’, there’ll be a specially designed pop-up carriage-style bar landing for the beer allowing visitors at the station to hop on and hop off as they see what the local breweries have to offer. 

This pop-up carriage bar, finished with traditional wood panelling effects, will serve up delicious beers, while the station’s popular restaurant and bars will also be offering their own special deals throughout the week.
