It’s Almost The Weekend: Here’s What To Do
Celebrate National Prosecco Day
Prosecco lovers, this one’s for you! National Prosecco Day falls on a Saturday this year, meaning there’s even more of an excuse to sip on your favourite tipple all weekend long. Our brand of choice? Mionetto, the ‘Masters of Prosecco’ renowned for its rich Italian heritage and authenticity.
With a 135 year history of perfecting prosecco, the brand uses premium Glera grapes from the rolling hills of Valdobbiadene, just north of Venice. The Mionetto Prosecco Brut has refreshing notes of golden apple, honey and white peach, and pairs brilliantly with savoury and small plates.
It’s delicious served solo or for something different, it’s a great addition to cocktails like Aperol Spritz and Limoncello Spritz. The perfect accompaniment to any al fresco occasion, this is the bottle to serve at this weekend’s heat wave celebrations.
For a London terrace experience, look to their terrace partnership at London Marriott Hotel Regents Park for cocktails, antipasti and fizz with friends.

Catch this family-friendly exhibition
The National Gallery’s annual Take One Picture programme returns for another year, bringing with it works from 30 primary schools across the country. This year’s theme saw primary school students respond creatively to ‘The Finding of Moses’ by Orazio Gentileschi.
The painting depicts a scene from the Old Testament (Exodus 2:2-10), in which Pharaoh’s daughter discovers baby Moses in a basket along the River Nile. The painting discusses cross-curricular themes from rivers and journeys to fashion, gesture and family.
Let your child see their work on display or head down to let their little minds get inspired by the works in front of them, from woven baskets to handmade jewellery.
