Vegan Ice Cream Brands You Can Buy From The Supermarket

While summer has been playing games with us this year, that’s no reason not to enjoy our favourite treat this season: ice cream. And for vegans, there are now plenty of options, so you don’t have to miss out – because just like the rest of the vegan food market, ice creams are booming!
We’ve undertaken the arduous task of sampling all of the best vegan ice cream ranges and picked out our favourites. Read on to uncover a new ice-cold treat to enjoy this week.
Jude’s
Made in the South Downs, the family-run company might not be a fully vegan brand but they certainly know how to create an ice cream that’s both creamy and fully plant-based.
Our favourite from the range is the vegan salted caramel.
Available to buy from most supermarkets and their online store, Jude’s boasts some seriously delicious flavours you won’t be able to resist. You’ll find vegan vanilla bean, chocolate brownie, honeycomb, chocolate, cookie dough brownie, but our favourite from the range is the vegan salted caramel. It’s oat-based and swirled with caramel and cinder toffee pieces tucked inside.
Magnum
Magnums have been a household favourite forever, they’re the perfect pairing for any movie night, breakup, or mini celebration— and now they have vegan options. You can choose between the classic flavour, the almond for a little crunch, or the raspberry swirl if you want an extra sweet treat. Our favs are the classic and almond.

From the smart packaging to where they stock their cocoa beans, Magnums as a brand is dedicated not only to great flavours, but also to great and sustainable business practices.

Booja-Booja
Thanks to cashews’ super high fat content, these wonder nuts make for a seriously creamy product and it’s what makes Booja-Booja ice creams deliciously smooth.
All vegan and organic, the award-winning Booja-Booja ice creams come in eight moreish flavours.

Halo Top
Halo Top makes it hard to believe that their vegan products are 100% plant-based. If you’re in the mood for a little kick with your ice cream, try their salted caramel, and if you want creamy goodness with a surprise, go for the vanilla fudge brownie— or do both. These non-dairy ice creams are made with real oats and are available at Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA, Sainsbury’s and more.
