Visit Topshop’s one-day-only pop-up

Ahead of its high-street opening in August this year, Topshop is teasing a one-day-only pop-up in Shoreditch. The pop-up will feature its new Talamanca collection and a limited-edition t-shirt collaboration with Defected Records. Expect live DJ sets, cocktails by Moth and a full glam bar experience. Although tickets are sold out on the website, there will be some room for walk-ins.

Check out this new May opening

It’s been a while since we heard about a new Dishoom opening, so this one’s definitely cause for excitement. Located around a corner of London’s Portobello Road, the all-day bar-café, pays tribute to Mumbai’s permit rooms and beer bars. You can expect Dishoom classics like eggs kejriwal or hot Permit Room French toast. There will also be favourites like aloo tikki chaat, samosas, black daal, berry biryani and lots more.

This weekend, keep your eyes on the sky as you might just find about 50 hot air balloons taking flight across London. If the weather permits, the Lord Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta will take place on Sunday, 11th May, and is all set to be quite the event – so finger’s crossed it finally happens this weekend.

Soil & Supper

Expect plenty of food, drinks and dancing at this lively evening in partnership with Fielden, a British whisky brand grounded in regenerative farming. Look forward to a truly special seasonal feast, followed by live music and dancing, led by The Lemon Célilí Co, a magical modern folk band. There will also be a film screening of Soil Is Life, a film that’s all about weaving the threads between soil, farming, food and fibre and a pop-up book shop celebrating landscape, nature and history.
