With a history going back to 1445, the Old Swan & Minster Mill sits in over 65 acres of gardens and wild-flower meadows. Privately owned and run, the 5 star inn exudes a warm and friendly welcome to resident guests as well as the strong local following for dining. Rooms are either true to character in the 600 hundred year old inn, or bright and contemporary in the Mill with direct views over the award-winning gardens and river. Some of the rooms back directly and have their own private terrace with firepits and marshmallows for toasting!

The inn has a strong focus of seasonal dining. Menus are based around creative gastro-inn inspired dishes together with classic nursery dishes; all with only fresh, ethically sourced ingredients, many from the kitchen gardens. Wine lists have been built on interesting wines from around the world.

If relaxing by a log-fire with a good book isnt your thing, there are some fantastic self-guided walks designed from the inn including local places of interest as well as good pub stopping points. Guests can also rent Pashley bicycles by the half or full day to venture a little further into the countryside where they can enjoy the sights of nature like the River Windrush. There is a tennis court, croquet and pentanque as well as several other games to enjoy in the gardens. A full spa is planned to open late in 2015 but in the meantime, several treatment rooms offer the best Yon-ka treatments from Paris and a couples massage room, offers blissfully relaxing Yok-ka hot oil massages.
