Searching for your new signature summer scent? I’ve done the hard work for you, shortlisting this season’s fragrance launches down to five must-have scents that suit every mood, style and budget.

True to its name, Chasing Sunsets captures that golden-hour feeling inspired by Brazil’s Ipanema beach. With a blend of juicy mango, creamy sandalwood and white flowers, this scent is my summer must-have and will be coming on my next trip to Barcelona. It really does encapsulate balmy evenings and tropical sunsets, and is my favourite launch from the brand yet!
This fragrance took me by surprise. I’m not usually a sweet fragrance girl, but the top notes of juicy black cherry are balanced beautifully with soft florals and warm gourmand undertones. It’s a really sophisticated take on the cherry fragrance trend and the bottle with the cherry charm is the cutest! This scent would make a perfect date night perfume or ideal for taking on a city break.
One thing that Sol De Janeiro does so well is creating fragrances that you just can’t stop yourself from smelling. They really have wrapped up summer in a bottle with Limonada Gelada. It’s inspired by Brazil’s refreshing frozen lemonade, so it has a real burst of citrus, but then as it settles, the creamiest notes of coconut milk and brown sugar linger. I’m a huge fan of their body mists, and this latest drop doesn’t disappoint.
Prepare to have a slight obsession with this scent. If you’re looking for a summer fragrance with depth and a dose of chicness, Oud Paradiso delivers. This modern update of oud is uplifted with pineapple ice cream, creating a really wearable take on what is usually traditionally intense. The vibe is warm, super luxe and sun-soaked. I wore this on my trip to Mykonos and now the scent will forever remind me of that holiday.
For those who love the cult appeal of Santal 33 but not the luxury price tag, Warmth is an impressive alternative and it’s really getting its limelight on TikTok right now. Built around creamy sandalwood, spicy cardamom, and soft, woody notes, it feels ultra-chic and understated. It’s the kind of fragrance that smells expensive without trying too hard and for £12 a bottle, you can make this your go-to everyday scent.
