“I’ve Found London’s Chicest Street For Restaurants”

We’ve found the best place to eat in London, and it’s tucked away on a picturesque, iconic avenue between Knightsbridge and Belgravia. Over the past 18 months, Motcomb Street has evolved into one of the city’s most exciting neighbourhoods for food, drink and luxury shopping. Read on to see the six restaurants you won’t want to miss.
In Partnership With Motcomb Street
After exploring Motcomb Street, there’s no going back – Belgravia has officially become my go-to for dining in London.

Amelie
Tucked inside the iconic Pantechnicon building, Amelie brings a fresh, modern twist to the classic French brasserie scene in Belgravia. The vibe is effortlessly elegant, with interiors that feel warm yet sophisticated, creating the perfect backdrop for their stunning dishes. The potato rösti with caviar is a standout – it’s not only a feast for the eyes but also seriously delicious. This is the kind of spot where you can show up looking to impress, yet it never feels overly formal, just relaxed luxury.
Mina’s
For those who love a cosy hideaway, Mina’s feels like stumbling upon a well-kept secret. The restaurant offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes cooked with care in a space that instantly feels welcoming and intimate. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, so it’s the perfect place to kick back, enjoy some seriously tasty food, and soak up a relaxed, no-pressure vibe.
Amaya
Just around the corner in Halkin Arcade, Amaya [pictured right] holds a Michelin star and serves some of the most inventive Indian cuisine in London. With its open kitchen (the first in London when it opened 20+ years ago) and smoky tandoor cooking, every dish packs a punch of flavour.
Alf’s at The Alfred Tennyson
Upstairs at The Alfred Tennyson, Alf’s feels like a London secret worth knowing. It’s classic and cosy but with an elevated edge. Think refined pub food served in a polished yet relaxed setting. Ideal for a weekend lunch or after-work dinner with friends. There’s also a fireplace, and there’s nothing better than that this time of year.
“It’s the kind of place that feels local but special — somewhere you could return to again and again.”
Le Café NAC

Le Café NAC is the name you’ve definitely seen on your feed – a Parisian-style spot serving the viral truffle pasta and gooey cookie dessert. Lively, stylish, and full of personality, it’s the place that first hooked me on Motcomb Street.
Their truffle pasta is genuinely as good as it looks online. And yes, the cookie lives up to the hype. Truly the best dessert I have ever eaten.
Mosimann’s

One of London’s most exclusive dining clubs, Mosimann’s sits inside a converted church and delivers old-school sophistication at its best. White tablecloths, impeccable service, and that sense of Belgravia heritage you just can’t fake. There’s also a bathroom that features a full dressing table setup, complete with a hairdryer for impromptu blow-dries. It doesn’t get more Belgravia than that.
The verdict
Motcomb Street is the perfect mix of old meets new. It’s elegant, architectural and full of charm, yet modern and full of life. From a quiet breakfast at NAC to late-night drinks at Amelie, it’s a part of London that feels both hidden and happening. No tourists here, this is for the Londoners.

If you haven’t explored Belgravia’s food scene yet, start with Motcomb Street, and thank us later.
