A Prada Cafe Is Opening In Harrods This Weekend
Serving up breakfast, lunch, dinner, small bites and aperitivo, this Friday 31st March sees the opening of a new Prada cafe in London department store, Harrods. Here’s everything we know so far…
Official imagery is yet to be released – we’ll update you as and when we have it – but a couple of sneak peaks on social have dropped this week and it’s clear to see the fashion house haven’t scrimped on style.

Expect the most decadent interiors, from the pistachio facade to the checkerboard flooring – a nod to the iconic Prada boutique on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan – the finest Japanese porcelain tea sets to velvet-upholstered sofas and armchairs. The Prada Caffè at Harrods will give fashion fans and foodies alike a little slice of Milano style in the heart of Knightsbridge.
The food takes on an all-day dining approach, from poached eggs and puff pastries washed down with the best Italian coffee for breakfast, to oozy burrata topped with zucchini or spinach and ricotta cannelloni with black truffle for lunch.
Pastries will take centerstage and promise to be just as pretty as the interiors themselves, from pistachio cake with pistachio croccantino and cream to sponge cake with vanilla cream, all displayed immaculately on the grand central counter and back wall – reason to visit alone just for the Instagram shot.
The Prada Caffè will give fashion fans and foodies alike a little slice of Milano style in the heart of Knightsbridge.
It wouldn’t be a true Italian experience without aperitivo hour. Choose from expertly crafted tipples, from negroni-based spritzes to signature cocktails and an impressive wine list with bottles from Sicily to Piedmont.
Booking is advised on the Harrods website as this is sure to be one of London’s top Instagram moments of Spring/Summer 2023. And if you just happen to be strolling past the Hans Road entrance, you might be tempted by the cute outdoor stall serving up the finest Italian gelato to Londoners.
The Prada Caffè will be open from 31st March to 7th January, 2024 9am-9pm Monday – Saturday and 12pm-6pm on Sundays.
