The Japanese Craft ROKU Gin

Edinburgh gin are the brains and botanists behind this bottle. Delivering strong herbaceous notes, their head distiller worked with the chief botanist at Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens to produce this gin, made from a selection of the 14,000 plants that live there.

Hampton Court Gin Lord Of Misrule

Another winner from Hampton Court Gin, Lord Of Misrule is inspired by the Tudor traditions of mischief and mayhem, when Henry VIII would choose a ‘Lord of Misrule’ from the lower classes , reversing the roles of king and servant for 12 days and giving him complete authority over the Court’s raucous feasts and wild partying – resulting in the Feast of Fools.

The aromatic botanicals you’ll find this gin are those that would have featured in the feast – think ginger, quince, cubeb berries, lemon, nutmeg, cinnamon, mulberry, grains of paradise, honey, butter almond and juniper.
