These Are The Funniest Podcasts To Listen To Right Now
Feeling down? Need a pick-me-up? Or just simply want to take the stress off life? We’ve put together a list of the funniest podcasts to brighten your day and have you cracking up with laughter. Some combine popular podcast genres like true crime or travel with light-hearted wit, while others help you see the funny side of life with advice and sometimes very relatable stories. These are our picks of funny podcasts to listen to:
Murder They Wrote
Laura Whitmore (presenter of Love Island, amongst other things) and Ian Stirling (narrator of Love Island, among other things) host this true crime podcast with a comic twist. The two decided to create Murder They Wrote because “they’re a little bit obsessed” with real-life crime stories from the present and the past, so if you’re a fan of the genre too, this podcast is for you. Each week, they dive into some of the most shocking and jaw-dropping cases, and it certainly makes the hours go by on a dull commute or long haul fight. Murder, betrayal, blackmail, and more- it’s all in there and of course, these are two hosts who bring their winning personalities to each episode with a dash of humour. Recent episodes have focused on a breakout from Alcatraz, a murder case involving love letters, and a heist inspired by Sherlock Holmes.

So Wrong It’s Right
Olivia Atwood, who appeared on Love Island and later joined Loose Women also has her own podcast. Like others on the list, this podcast is about being honest rather than trying to hide behind our fears and shame.
Each episode, Olivia talks to a different guest about life moments that might be a bit cringey, but also very relatable, and “fessing up to some of our most guilty pleasures.” Whatever you find embarrassing or might worry others will judge you for, Olivia wants to know. She might be dispensing life advice of her own as she riffs with her guests, but this is an anti-agony aunt podcast.
