Nothing brings more joy than a fresh bunch of blooms and, come summertime, all we can think about is picking up a glorious bunch of golden-hued sunflowers. So we’ve rounded up seven of the UK’s best sunflower fields to pick the perfect bouquet (and an aesthetic photo or two).

Garsons Esher

Brighten your day with a trip to Garsons Esher’s glorious sunflower fields.

We’ve covered Garsons Esher’s wonderful PYO (pick your own) selection before but we want to draw your attention specifically to their bursting sunflower fields, which are open for 2025.

Of course, there are also blackberries, flourishing fruit and veggies to pick yourself too.

Blooming Green

Calling all flower lovers: head on out to Blooming Green just south of Maidstone, to explore endless petal possibilities at their pick-your-own flower farm.

Cousins Bek and Jen first launched the company back in 2007 and now grow and sell flowers and foliage for weddings, parties and celebrations, but it’s their Loddington Farm location that is still the beating heart of the business and has its own PYO section for floral fans to pick until their heart’s content.

For an extra special experience, “PYO Flowers & Pizza” is available on Thursdays from May 22nd to September 4th, 5-8pm, offering pizza, fizz, and the chance to hand-pick flowers.

As for the best time to pick sunflowers here, it’s best to check with them directly at the start of August.
