Get ready to pamper your locks with a touch of royalty because Beyoncé has just dropped Cécred (pronounced sacred) – the haircare brand we’ve been desperately waiting for…

With years of performing under the spotlight and dealing with all the hair drama of high-tension hairstyles and endless colouring, Beyoncé knows exactly what our hair’s been craving: luxurious conditioners, powerhouse protein, patent-pending keratin recovery tech complete with the signature Temple Oud fragrance.

Channelling inspiration from her roots (quite literally) and growing up surrounded by her mum Tina Knowles’ salon expertise, Cécred is all about putting textured hair, and strands in need of extra strength and moisture, on the hair map.

Beyoncé announced the exciting news on Instagram earlier this month, and now we finally have the products available to shop.

Her vision? To create a new standard in haircare that breaks down myths and helps to change the narrative in haircare. “As a Black founder, it was important to me to concentrate on where I saw the greatest need for healthy hair care,” explains Bey. “We started by prioritising the needs of textured hair like mine, along with other types and textures that need more moisture and strength.”

Packed with all-natural goodies like butters, oils, honey, and fermented rice water, the range includes a Clarifying Shampoo & Scalp Scrub, Hydrating Shampoo, Moisturising Deep Conditioner, Reconstructing Treatment Mask, Moisture Sealing Lotion, and Nourishing Hair Oil, with more products on the way. Plus we love the tactile, pebble-inspired packaging that upgrades every bathroom shelf.

Living up to her Queen Bey name, Beyoncé has also launched the BeyGOOD x Cécred fund, an annual $500,000 award for cosmetology school scholarships and salon business grants, to champion and support new hairdressing talent. And all this while being a musical phenomenon as well as a mother-of-three. We’re in awe.
