A crowd favourite since 1997, Carnaby will once again be lighting up for Christmas. Entitled Into the Light, it lit up on 7th November and celebrates the best of shopping, dining and experiences on offer in this infamous neighbourhood. This year’s display features a immersive light installation and displays that take place every hour on Carnaby Street.
Marylebone Village
It’s no secret that we love Christmas in the city and one of our favourite neighbourhoods to explore is Marylebone Village. The festive lights were illuminated on 13th November and the festivities were in support of charity partner, Great Ormond Street Hospital.

A blanket of twinkling stars is set to take over Oxford Street once again this year. The epic light switch-on took place on 4th November and sees the stars criss-crossing along the iconic shopping destination.
Alongside the sustainable light display in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, festive events will return for another year, offering a range of exciting street entertainment, in-store offers and experiences for all ages to get involved with.
Catch up on some Christmas shopping and explore the street in all of its glory, from the lights to dazzling window displays and in-store offers.
Covent Garden
Bringing the festive spirit to life this season is Covent Garden. Covent Garden hosted an exclusive Christmas light switch-on moment on 13th November, kicking off their holiday event calendar with the lighting of the massive tree.
Christmas events take place all season long at the iconic piazza, including Festive Thursdays with special offers and holiday happenings all through November and December.

‘The Spirit of Christmas’ will return to Regent Street and St James’s for yet another year, bringing with it over 50 large-scale ‘spirits’ that float above the high street.
The 300,000 LED lighting scheme operates on a timer for a more sustainably lit Christmas. Head down to soak up the lights, do some Christmas shopping and, of course, snap a photo underneath the twinkling spirits.
Chelsea
Chelsea’s festive season kicked off on 16th November, bringing with it all of the festive cheer and hope to end the year. The display, which covers Sloane Square, Duke of York Square, King’s Road and Pavilion Road, is all decked out with lights, from dazzling stars to giant neon signage.
Royal Exchange
The Royal Exchange once again welcomed its notorious giant glistening trees to welcome the holiday season in style.
Dressed in red and gold, they take over the courtyard and create that traditionally festive atmosphere we all know and love, alongside massive red ribbons that wrap the classic columns.

The highlight of Trafalgar Square’s Christmas experience is the towering 20-metre-plus tree lit up in the centre of the square. The tree has been gifted to the city each year by Norway since 1947, and the date for this year’s iconic switch-on is 5th December.
Leadenhall Market
Leadenhall Market is rich in history dating back to the 14th century, originally a meat, poultry and game market. Fast forward to now and it’s filled with some of the best boutiques, dining spots and luxury lifestyle stores on offer in the city.
The magical lighting ceremony took place on 14th November and was kicked off by the Lord Mayor of London, and you can enjoy the twinkling lights from 6am to 11:30 pm until January 2025. Can’t-miss holiday markets and festive walks also take place at various dates throughout the season.
Mayfair
The most wonderful time of the year is almost here and Mayfair has put on quite the show.
The neighbourhood has been transformed into a magical winter wonderland, with Mayfair’s Mount Street featuring a sparkling new set of lights designed by British artist Conrad Shawcross.
