Looking at dates for your 2024 gig-going diary? London’s live music scene is one of the world’s best, and this year is packed with a host of brilliant gigs, brand-new tours and outdoor festivals. While many concerts have sold out already, there are plenty of tickets you can get your hands on for concerts in London 2024, as well as fans selling theirs at face value, so keep an eye out on fan-to-fan resale sites.

Here’s a look at the best London concerts in 2024 – from intimate gigs to arena shows and UK festivals.

Concerts in August 2024

Jensen McRae

Jensen McRae has left fans haunted and needing more with her stunning, deep voice, and hearty songwriting. Going viral on TikTok with songs like “Massachusetts” and an incredible debut album— “Are You Happy Now”— McRae has made a name for herself in the music scene.

She opened for Noah Kahan for a leg of both his US and European tour this year, and decided to come back to London herself for three shows!

Justin Timberlake returns to London with the Forget Tomorrow World Tour, in what promises to be a sell-out run over two nights in the O2.

The former lead vocalist of NSYNC and ten-time Grammy Award winner is one of the best-selling pop artists of all time, and is known for collaborations with Timbaland, Jay-Z, and Madonna.

Pixies

The Pixies may forever be associated with one of the most famous film needledrops of all time in Fight Club, but there’s a lot more to the band than just Where Is My Mind.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a band that’s had a bigger impact on alternative rock than the Pixies, and their 2024 tour brings a setlist that merges their most beloved classic tracks with captivating modern material.

Paramore

Whether it’s nostalgia for when you first discovered them as a teenager or when you realised they are actually still releasing pretty great music, Paramore are certain to be one of the highlights of the summer concert season.

Taking over Wembley Park, they will be performing their new critically acclaimed album This Is Why, and are sure to feature classic hits like The Only Exception and Hard Times as well.

Noah Kahan

Grammy Best New Artist nominee Noah Kahan is scheduled to return to the UK for the third time within a year to perform at The O2. Notably, Kahan’s three songs, Stick Season, Dial Drunk, and Northern Attitude, are currently charting in the Top 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The artist’s indie-folk style promises to deliver a captivating performance that is not to be missed.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift continues her world domination with the next rake of concerts in London – unless she decides to take advantage of the job opening in the White House (we wouldn’t put it past her). The mega three-hour set – with Paramore as a supporting act – goes for 5 nights from August 15 – 20th.

Concerts in September

Texas

Inner Smile, Say What You Want, Summer Son – just some of the hits by iconic Scottish rock group Texas, who are doing a UK-wide tour in 2024 sampling some of their greatest collections.

The London stop of the tour heads to the O2 in September, where you can see first-hand that despite over 25 years of performing, they’ve lost none of what made them great.

Jungle

Jungle have been around for a while, but really hit their breakthrough into the mainstream over the past year. Their Back on 74 entered the hallowed ‘song of the summer’ realm in 2023, topped off with a great performance at the Brits earlier this year.

Their mix of neo-soul, funk and electronic is impossible to stay still too, and exactly what you want if you like upbeat, feel-good dance hits.

Maybe the artist most responsible for bringing dance music to a mainstream audience in the UK and USA in the 90s, Moby has been pioneering for over 30 years.

Despite further ventures into ambient music and animal rights activism, it’s his dance music that still brings the crowds, from number one albums Play and 18.

Chappell Roan is one of the breakout stars of 2024, and this concert marks possibly your last chance to see her at a reasonable price before she goes truly supersonic.

Performing at the recently reopened O2 Acadamy in Brixton, her hit single Good Luck, Babe! is a true showstopper live.

Asake

Nigerian artist Asake has staked his claim as a trailblazer in the Afro-Urban and Afrobeats genres, and hits up the O2 as part of his Lungu Boy World Tour.

The Jonas Brothers are set to rock the stage in London this September, bringing their signature boy-band energy to the O2. The trio released “Waffle House,” one of their latest hits that has been climbing the charts. Dua Lipa

She might also be headlining Glastonbury this year, but that hasn’t stopped one of the biggest artists in the world from announcing a concert in London this October.
